yeah, he was a neo-con partisan clown just a couple years ago, but Beck has been changing his tune. So it's easy to find contradictions. However, he is now getting some good ideas out there to people who prefer a lot of drama and sentimentality with their truth. I don't really trust him but he's not purely bad, he's actually helping right now... I just hope he doesn't self-destruct and take the good ideas he's now trying to promote down with him.

Where I think Beck has credibility is in the fact that he was a conservative largely because his family was. It was ingrained in him. But as he does more research, he's realized both he and far left Americans have been duped by the parties. Bush won in 2004 because he made everyone afraid of gay marriage. Where he could have been pushed off in 2004 as a brain-dead neocon, now he's starting to expose what he's realized is the truth. He's dangerous to politicians because of it.

I was on the fence on this issue until I heard the debra medina interview. It was an ambush. He first endorsed her until she actually was gaining in the polls to the point that it looked like she may win.

I could see that the reason he had her on was to ambush her.

Medina is a REAL libertarian, not a politician.

She never even said that she believed the 9/11 conspiracy theories, she was merely making the point that people have the right to question their government, which I admire.

He does it when talking about himself, his friends, people he supports and people he doesn't support. and just because napalitano thinks the patriot act is against the constitution doesn't mean it is. And what Beck completely thought about the bail out was that government has things so screwed up right now we didn't have a choice in it and the problem (at the time) seemed so big it might not be enough.
