@sharonrodr Why do you want to cover your freckles!?!? In short yes but it might have to be layered. What you can try is putting a really thin layer on and then setting it with a loose powder and just keep repeating the process until it's covered. It's the same way to cover tattoos or birth marks. If your freckles are pretty light you might not even need to layer it though.
Do you know if the lightest pink toned shade (C10) is actualy pale? lol I'm very pale and I'm not sure if this product will be too dark/orange or yellow for me. As referance I think I am shade non existent in mac foundation lol uhm revlon colorstay in ivorys a good match for me and alabaster in the Bobbi Brown foundation.
@tiiggger I'm also alabaster in Bobbi Brown and E0 is a good match. I think C10 might be too dark but I've never tried it... come to think of it there might not even be a C10, maybe just a C20 but that could definitely be wrong. E0 is really neutral so unless you're very very pink toned I think you would be safe with it.
@lizjasso Haha I know it seems crazy that it lasts that long. It all depends on how much you use though. If you use it as foundation it won't last nearly as long. (:
Now, you say you have that much left and you've had it for a year? But I'm wondering how much you use it because I actually got one yesterday and if I use it EVERY day, how long do you think it will last me? How much do you use yours?
@EmLeahlie I use mine almost every day but I don't use it as foundation, just as concealer. If you use it as foundation it obviously won't last as long because you need to use a lot more. (:
@cosmeticjunkie17 Ok (: And I tried to use mine as a foundation.. but I ended up looking like a porcelain doll... LOL.. Not a good idea for highschool x_x Anyway, thanks :3 Awesome review, I appreciate it cause I can't really find any good ones.
@EmLeahlie Haha yeah I find it makes my skin look too perfect to the point where it just looks unnatural, even though the finish is still natural. It's weird. No problem! I'm glad you found it helpful. (:
yay watched this again to get some ideas. I noticed it's carried at sephora too, which is cool. I was going to hit up shoppers for it, but might be easier to get at sephora.
@pinkabuki I already tweeted you but I've never seen it at a Sephora in Canada. It's in pretty much every Shoppers I've been to though as long as they have a good cosmetics section. At some stores it's right in the beauty boutique and in other it's out with brands like La Roche Posay and Avene. Only really small Shoppers won't carry it.
Cover fx is a Canadian company so maybe for the first time every we canadian's don't get ripped off XD This video was uber helpful, i'm looking into the higher end foundations that don't actually break out my skin =) thank you!
@softalpenglow Haha yeah I think that's the reason and I'm very thankful for it. We always get so ripped off which is why I do a lot of online shopping. I'm glad it was helpful! (:
@ammy107 White cast in flash photography tends not to be an issue for me since I'm already so pale and my skin usually photographs as white anyway so I'm not really sure. I would say it's probably minimal because I'll wear it with foundation like NARS sheer glow that doesn't have spf and I can't see a difference in any areas of my skin but again I'm probably not the best person to give you advice on that subject. Sorry I couldn't be more help! (:
@aeikerts I don't recommend it as an all over foundation for any skin type but I think it could be especially unflattering on dry skin. As a spot concealer you should be ok but I don't think it will help moisturize your skin. They have a foundation called Natural FX which is very moisturizing and good for dry skin.
@Redsparklez Anything with SPF has an expiration date because the SPF will get broken down and won't be effective after a while. The actual product still works, it just won't give you sun protection. and dec 14 means it expires December of 2014. There's never an exact date on cosmetics, they just go by the month and year. (:
@Falastineya09 Aww thank you! I use it almost everyday. Like I said I only use it as a concealer though. If I used it as a foundation it wouldn't last me that long. (:
i love this product- a little goes a long way- i use mine for consealer -spot conseal- but you need the pointed brush they sell not the square brush- i have beauty marks- some call them moles lol- i cant cover them- but i can really lighten them-i got the kit- cream foundation-brush-(great omega 3 primer)powder that is SOSO-$106.00 sephora-cost a lot but does not dry out your skin-last all day-i am very olive like Kermit the frog-and and i am a E- great review x shelly
@magicadespell56 I'm glad you like it! You shouldn't cover your beauty marks! I sometimes go over mine with a brow pencil to make them stand out more. They make you unique. (:
@yourugly58 I have combination-oily skin and it works well for me. I also used to have even oilier skin a few years ago when I first started using it and it worked just as well. (:
@DotChin1 I'm glad you found the review too! I was always planning on doing this video but your comment on her video pushed me to do it sooner. I hope you found it helpful! Let me know if you have any other questions about it. (:
An eye for an eye, I guess, because now you have me reallllllly wanting to go buy this! Where in Canada (besides Sephora) can I find it?
Also, I LOVE how you did that little section where you can click to be forwarded to different parts of the review. Always wondered how people do that!
@lauraraelynn Haha youtube is going to make us both go broke! Shoppers Drug Mart should have it as long as it's a decent size and has a decent beauty section. I think The Bay sometimes carries it too and if you're near a major city you might have a Murale and they carry it too.
The links to other parts of the video are just annotations. You add in an annotation but make it a "spotlight" and then you can add a link to it. (:
@DDintheCity It depends on how much you use it but I use mine almost every day as concealer and there's still way more left than I've used up so yes it's a great investment! I highly recommend it. Thanks for watching! (:
You give the best reviews for real. So informative, the effort you put into reviewing a product is really obvious and very appreciated. I feel like I always mention people's nails, and you are going to think I'm like a nail stalker or something but I love your nails in this vid. They look like the sugar plum nails that missglamorazzi just had a vid on. I could be totally wrong, but either way they look stellar.
@beautydissected Thank you! That means a lot. I'm always worried I won't give an accurate review so I try to learn as much as I can about the product.
The nails ARE the sugar plum nails haha. After I saw her tutorial I took off my nail polish right away and tried it out and then tweeted her a picture hahahaha. I'm pretty much obsessed with the design and I want to do it in another color now. xo
@jimmyshang Thanks for watching and commenting! I can definitely do that. I might just do a video covering all of the other Cover FX products but I'll for sure include the powder fx. (:
Fab review, so much information and detailed knowledge. I'm impressed that they do shades light enough, that's always great! I like the look of that brush, looks like it might be good for blush? Love your cheeks especially and your hair is sooo shiny girl! I'd love to know what hair products you use. It's your crowning glory, as my mom would say : )
@daisynation It's similar to the MAC 109 but it's flatter and denser. I've never tried it for blush but it would probably work well. I'm personally not a big fan of it and I'm trying to find a use for it so hopefully blush will work out.
Thank you! I'm planning on doing a hair care video really soon. xo
You look so bright and fresh and pretty! Thank you for this review. I didn't know about this product before this video and after watching have added it to my wish list. :)
@melusinafire Thanks! It's a great concealer. I think you would like it. But you already have really pretty skin so you probably don't even need it. xo
Oh and I sent you a tweet. I don't know if you check your twitter so go check your mentions.
You're so cute whenever you're like "I cannot talk today." :D
Great review, you seriously covered ALL aspects of this product. A lot of people who do reviews only give their own personal opinion and don't mention important things like prices, benefits, ingredients, lasting power/longevity, shade overview, similar products...you got it all girl!
P.S. Your lashes look amazing in this, what mascara are you using? :)
@averunks Hahaha you mean in every video!! I always stumble over my words even IRL.
Thanks! I'm always worried I don't say enough about the product or that I'm missing something. I did forget to mention it has SPF though... oh well. I'm just using Covergirl lashblast fusion but I didn't put very much on because I wasn't planning on filming.
can it cover freckles?
