Even though she's singing about "la fiesta Lukumi" and they're showing a mock/fake wemilere...this isn't real practice or worship. Never look to Hollywood for realism. ;)

But they are singing genuine Lukumi songs to Obatala and Aganju in this video segment.

I am African American and I love Afro Latino culture. I see the discrimination all the time on tv. Whenever i see a black person on the Spanish Channel... which is not often at all, they are always playing the role of a servant to some white person or just an extra in the background. It really is ridiculous and the white latino's are really IN YOUR FACE with their racism. It's sad... makes me wonder are we still in the 50's?
