Very few things moved me that deeply. I also had a chance and great honor to exchange few words with George Brady, his daughter and Fumiko san. Such wonderful and inspiring Human Beings. I feel very grateful to all people who produced and participated at this production. Words of the children especially, with their deep humanity, compassion, kindness and wisdom should be a lesson and inspiration for our society where what is the most important is so often overlooked...
I read this book today. It was a wonderful book. Hana was an amazing little girl. She was so full of life. So sweet. But she died in such an unthinkably horrible way. I love how those people in Japan didn't let Hana's story die with her. I'm glad the Japanese children are learning about this as it ties in with their own country's history too. I was sad to find out they never had the original suitcase but the whole thing is still amazing. I wanna see this movie!
I read the story about Hanna a couple years ago now, and i also read from the internet the sory of her brother George. It has to be one of my most memorable reads still to this day and probably for ever, I oftern find myself thinking about this story and her brothers also, im fathomed as to how hitler done this to these poor people. The boy in the stripped pajamas is also a good movie... related to the hitler movement. SOOOO SAD!!!... but sooo memorable?
Does anyone know where to obtain a copy of this movie? I am trying to locate Inside Hana's Suitcase for my students but so far have had no luck. Free or at a charge, I'd love some help!! Thank you :)
this is soo sad, I just watched a movie called the boy in the striped pajamas it's such a sad movie. Thats really sad a german kid with a jewish kid getting locked in a gas chamber. I seriouly almost cried from that movie
I am reading the book so far at school, so thats why I searched her up. We haven't reached the end, but I know the terible things that happened in those days. I can't believe her brother servived, and she hd to be gased at (HOWEVER YOU SPELL IT) It makes me cry and feel sad about this. :(
I met Fumiko the lady who did research about Hana tonight. She was a guest speaker at Umashoa in Tulsa. She is very nice and i am proud of all her hard work to figure out who Hana Brady was.
love. I never realized before tonight that love is the strongest thing but hate is tied. But it takes a tragedy to realize this. The holocaust wa a tragedy, a terrible thing that could of been prevented, if the world was seen through the eyes of a child. Children are, in my opnion, the most intelligent stage of humans. They think not of hate but of friendship and love, which is why I write this, to pass on the message of love, and freze the message of hate. For when love prevailes, hate will b
I just watched a documentary called inside Hanas suitcase. It really got me thinking about things. I realized that if the world saw life through the eyes of a child, there would never be hate, never wars, no borders to be crossed. When a child makes a friend, they don't think you're diffrent. They think you're friend. It may sound silly but the world is full of hate, but when you think of hate, what do you think of? Wars, fights, guns, I think of humans. We do so much to hate, and not enough to
@humtingify It doenst sound silly, in ways children are smarter then adults, love is important, hopefully the future generations will look back on tragedys like this is realize everthying you just said because you are brilliant
I saw this film in the theatre. It was incredibly gut-wrenching, yet always in such a tasteful and noble manner. I think its unrelenting tension achieved through so many artistic components, takes the Documentary genre to new heights!!
io ho letto questo libro con i miei compagni di classe:è bellissimo ,infatti stiamo facendo una recita sulla valigia di hana (io sono la terza bambina piccole ali veronica
i got the book two days ago in english class and i was engrossed in reading i finshed it in two days it was so sad but it was probably one of the best stories i have ever read.
i saw the movie at the jcc for school and it is a very sad movie about a girl in the holocaust who died in a camp. i met with holocaust survivors last year and interviewed one of them. it is very sad to hear about this first hand b/c your talking with someone who was there and had to go through this horrible event in history.
@Iluvdoughtnuts7 yeah it is a very sad we have good jewish friends who live near by and their granddad and aunt and unchela and their parents all were in the camps
the man at 4:03 is hanas brother,George.Hana died in a has chamber. The nazis said the could take a shower. The shower was customized for gas to come out of it
i really want to see that movie ,it looks like a good movie and seems interesting after having to read the book for a school project.sad story though.

Be forgotten.
Don't ever forget life is the best gift one can give, but it is destroyed, when hate fills the heart.
~this message is detected to those who have died as a result of hate, espicaly the children of the holocaust
