the v6's witch came in them as original are fucking crap, you cant work with them, they just keep breaking... i know guy witch put scania straight 6 turbodiesel from truck in t150, then it finally becmes a tractor, witch you can work without loosing time on repairs...

@Energ1zer1 It's in Finland. We have few Harkovs and Kirovets here. T150-Ks were also sold here Belarus label. Only problem with these here is that they don't have ROPS cap, so they cannot be registered on road use as tractors. :(

hearing that engine rattle in a cold mroning reminds me of when my dad would start up his PowerStroke (later on Duramax's/no offense to mentioning a PowerStroke on a Scania/Harkov video) in the cold winter months when I was younger. How cold was it anyway?

@SeaDollarsBertram Actually it's wasn't very cold, only -4C. I have another video on youtube, were I start it at -10C. Scania made several versions of that V8 engine and I have seen much easier starting versions.

So you started good machine in cold, what intend now? Plow field of snow?

@royalbrainwave -4C isn't that cold. At winter temperature drops to -30C. It was warmer day, so I started it to make sure that the battery is full and if not, the alternator would charge it up. We have winter 6 months in a year, if I would never start it in cold I would sit six months and that's bad for the engine also.

@madfurmchen It doesn't have glow plugs, only excess fuel device in injection pump. I will install coolant preheater in it someday for cold weather.

Thanks. I think that Harkov is from Ukraine at least according to google there is town called Harkov in Ukraine. Traktor hadn't been startet for few monts at that time and no heaters where used. Only cold starting device it has is a cold starting button on injection pump and I didn't use it.

In my other video cold starting button was used as You can tell form black smoke. :)

Great tractor! Never heard of a Harkov, what nationality is it? Love the sound of the Scania starting cold! What it plugged in at all (block heater)? Does it have grid heaters or glow plugs? She started pretty nice.

@CombatWombat1985 No,because if you put it in some soviet machinery,then you make it worse.In this case,he made it better,but usually,soviet stuff is more reliable.For example i wouldnt even think of replacing the 14,8L V8 on my Kraz-255 for a scan engine.

@herrad82 I have to say,that it sound pretty same as the old engine,though without the whistling sound,probably,because the scan engine hasnt got a turbo.It should be a hell lot more powerful too,than the old engine.The old engine was weak as hell.
