@TheCashbash96 i painted these for show only, i wouldn't recommend painting them without testing it out on cheaper wheels first

@bhansenftw Target used to sell them, they are just very basic low quality boards (mongoose), perfect for painting for display only

@fablab43 sure, i recommend using Rust-Oleum paint you can get it at Lowes, or other home-improvement stores

the shiny spray was a gloss polyurethane found near spray paint at the same type of stores

the stickers i made were from full sheet inkjet labels from Office Max, you put them in your printer and print out the design you want, cut it out and peel off the backing and stick it on the board then spray over and peel up

looks great! not that anyone would ride such a beauty, but the deck isn't one of those shitty economy decks since it was 9.99 was it? i'd still buy a nice deck to paint such a masterpiece on. good work!

do i need ink jet labels t odo this or i can use constuction paper???

@FeenOner what's nice about the inkjet labels is that they have a sticky side so the paint doesn't get underneath easily, if you would use construction paper, i'd recommend putting double sided tape beneath it, spraying from above, and not over spraying or the paint may leak under the paper

@FeenOner sure, first sand the board down so it's as smooth as you can get it, come up with a sweet design, lay down a base coat, use some painter's tape or homemade stickers to make your design, spray over that, peel up the tape and you have a design, some touch up may be required depending on how well the tape worked, and a clear spray or polyurethane seals the paint well (with too much it will start to yellow your white paint)

Wow. I love your board. I think if I ever get to do that, I'll make it with black and red. Either way I love how it looks dude, with the green and the silver and everything. It looks rad. Where did you got the atticus bird logo so big? I want something like that to make a stencil in my bedroom.

@xlslayersproductions i don't know, i haven't used the board, i would imagine the paint would hold, but the dirt and junk from the ground would make them dirty

take the bearings out. and you shouldn't use a walmart board. it lowers the value. take a minilogo one. they are cheaper and have good concave if anyone would be stupid enough to skate it

the letters are 8.5x11" packaging labels with a sticky underside that i bought at office max i ran them through a printer to get the design i wanted, cut it out, pulled off the wax-like paper they stuck to, and they stick right to the board, just like a sticker

i'm not planning on selling either of the boards, but it sounds like you really want one or maybe both. let me know and maybe i could see about remaking them and if they turn out just as good then you can buy those (i would send you pictures of them). but since it is just about winter here, i can't work on them for at least a few months

if im honest, its no way as near as good as your blink182 board, which is immense!! Im no fan of Atticus, or ever heard of them but the finished product was pertty dam sexy. I just didn't like the band or the colours used, but thats my preference. So overall that was pretty sick.
