  • @ 02:29 you can see a varig 747-300 varig was the largest and greatest brazilian airline ever. Good times...

  • Thanks a lot for the Varig old paint I miss that so much

  • I loved it! Thanks for the compilation!!

  • I heard that Cheech and Chong purchased a 747-100 new in 1970, and that they had the entire main passenger deck modified into a gigantic bong, with smoke pipes leading from the main deck jutting through the floor of the upper deck. Is this true?

  • There was life.......!!! 747's everywere, but true 747's! I want a DC-10/L-1011 lovers edition too Ryan... Amazing video. ;)

  • Awesome ryan!!! Keep digging up those old VHS tapes of yours! I loved every second of it!! =D

  • Always so pleasant to see and to hear(understand, listen)

  • Awesome! I've seen JA8188 in Sydney while flying for Southern Air, weird seeing it here back in the day.

  • So any major ultimate compilation on the 727?

  • @mytmousemalibu, the last one that I did was in November 2010 called "Classic 727 Action at MIA", it was a much shorter video than this but it had some really cool content.

  • Wait a sec. If this was recorded in 1993, as you say, why is there a Pan Am 747? Just wondering; it's not like I have anything against Pan Am.

  • @compdude100, sorry I didn't catch that, thanks! I used two different VHS tapes for this video, one was from 1993 & the other was from 1991. I changed the description to reflect that.

  • @RyanBomar Oh, I see. That makes much more sense.

  • Fantastic video. I could watch those beauties all day. Nice to the see the old Cathay Pacific livery.

  • I truly think that the 747 classics look really good with PW engines while the 747-400 looks better with GE engines ;)

  • Awesome video man, I love the one 747 SP at 01:18 ... those old BA Landor colors were lovely too :)

  • Nice video of Jumbo jets at LAX Airport, I wish there would be more take offs because it shows the power of the 747s engines and Aerodynamics. Nice nostalgia video of what LAX used to be a 747 paradise.

  • I saw my first 747 takeoff in 2009. I was driving towards LAX to spot some aircraft when it flew over the road. It was HUGE, and at least 4-5 blocks away. It's amazing seeing these in person. So large, yet so graceful.

  • I used to be able to go to KMCC and usually see a 742 every weekend or so. For the last month there has been no 742 at KMCC. I am really starting to miss those old 742s. (N470EV and N471EV)

  • Excellent stuff!

  • I subbed to you please checkout my channel!

  • OMG I LOVE THE 747!!!

  • Cool retro video!

  • I love this! Thanks for sharing!
