In the original Illustrations by Sir John Tenniel, which were drawn with specifications by Carroll, both the Queen and the mad Hatter had large heads. However, in those drawings, the duchess had the largest head of all.

Ever since I first watched this version of Alice in Wonderland when I was six, it has been my all time favorite. Tim Burton's was good too, but not as special as this one. I'm 15 too, and I still watch it every other weekend and it never fails to make me smile. And this song is on my iPod too. :D

And slightly off topic, I think Miranda Richardson looks really pretty as the real world counterpart in this clip.

I once saw a very very creepy film of Alice in wonderland. It was old, but still in color, probably from the 60's-70's, it featured stop motion animation but I'm not sure if alice was a puppet aswell, anyone here knows which version am I talking about?! o.O

When I was younger, I wasn't entirely impressed with this version, but now that the new Tim Burton version has come out and I've revisited this one at an older age, this is a much better work of art and it features a great cast. This song pleases me, and I'm happy it's clipped on here. This movie, as much as I love it for how close it sticks to the original dialogue, was REALLY hard for me to follow when it came out 10 years ago. Too young to really understand what people were saying most times. It's a beautiful film, but very dense and more the sort of thing you partake in once in a while and not frequently, like some films can be.
