Well, in the books it wasn't just that you could tell from the start that he would rape Maggie to get at Jimmy, he had tried it before when she was about 14 while his wife was UPSTAIRS. Then there was just all the other evil shit he did as well, like when he killed his dad after beating him up and making him shit scared of him. Btw, I don't know how much of the book they put on screen as I have yet to see it so don't get frustrated at me if they showed all this b/c at the time I didnt have Sky.
