@DRCRUE1313 This guitar uses Grover locking Rotomatics. They automatically lock the string in the post with an internal cam. Only 1/2 a wind per post is required which reduces slip and grab. They're excellent tuners. We also offer Schaller locking.
@someniggahtatgotshot yes go to stetsbar.com and they can make you a lefty one with no additional cost but if you have a guitar that has a bridge but the goes through the body you will have to drill holes but only 1/8" screws inorder for it to fit jus tlook it up on their site other than that there is no required drilling and no damage done to your guitar
Hi mark , Im One Of Emily's Friend,Nyla ! ; Yerr really good on the guitarr , Hope someone can see ur talent! Theres talent scouts on youtube 24/7 , good luck ! :]
Hey mark! Thats so cool! my friend Emily is a student of yours and she is a wondeful gutair player. How do you keep it so clean!? I have always wanted to learn.
what is the life time of this stetsbar?? do we need to replace any parts after extensive use for a few years?? or we will have to buy a new set??? can we retrofit the stetsbar on a guitar with floyd rose kind of bridge???
The Stetsbar is based on sliding plates with 1 cam (that will not fail) and 2 sets of bearings that may need cleaning after many years if at all. I do not see any potential for failing parts other than possible spring fatigue. Springs are easy to change and are availible from Stetsbar or AlumiSonic Inc.
The sound of this instrument clean is incredible. We are looking forward to releasing a clean tone video on this instrument in the future. We will certainly be doing so with some new and upcoming 1100-Custom models.
Kossumussu: Thank you for asking about the Stetsbar Tremolo. Yes it can be easily removed and replaced with a T.O.M. bridge. The Stetsbar does not require any additional holes or cutouts on a Tele or LP type guitar body.
Manydaysago: Thanks for asking. Since the guitar uses locking tuners and not a locking nut, you have excellent flexibility in the higher positions. The 24-3/4 scale also helps.
It depends on how you have it set up. When installing one you have to know what you're doing, If you don't tighten the outer screws to push against the bridge the strings pull on it and that makes the Stetsbar a real headache to use. But then again, It is supposed to be set up properly before you use it.
Thanks for asking. The adjustment of the outer screws will raise or lower the spring tension. Like on any tremolo, that adjustment would always require some basic experience. After the correct position is found, the tremolo will perform perfectly. We set this up before shipping any guitar.
That's def.a question for the company.I will say there are alot of features on that model.A pull out knob with a built-in effect.Any response I wanted out of the bridge,or neck pick ups I got instantly.Nice playing guitar.Check out their website.
Yes we have used various pickups upon request, including Lace Alumitone's and even Q-Tuners by Neophyzix. We are looking for the right opportunity to do a photo-shoot and press release on both.
Is this a metal guitar?
