I like Anggun (proud Indo), and I like Bowie too. But I have to categorically say that David's version is better, just cuz he had that you know Ziggy Stardust persona still w/ him. When I went to Indonesia a few years ago, you wouldn't believe a few of the voices I heard that have yet to be discovered. They have awesome voices and I don't mean of the Karaoke genre. So much talent there. Even the people in Ubud and the way they carve and sculpture, so much pride and talent.
