There is alot of concern on hot the iPhone feels when the Mophie is recharging the phone. I thought my iPhone would fry.

I just bought a 32gb 3gs on ebay and it came with this mophie juice pack air case and a Otterbox case....I plan on selling them both because of just the added bulk added. But I did have one question....does the added bulk bother you at all? Thanks!

does this case affect the actual battery of the actual iphone? cuz i remember ipod sellers telling me a long time ago that you shouldnt recharge your ipod through car batteries and other things like that because it kinda screws up the battery (makes its life span shorter)

I bought one for my iPhone 3GS, and I've had a drop in signal with it. The reception bars at the top left drop to half or less. Other than that, I find that it's a convenient case with a battery built right in... If it weren't for the dropped-calls and reception issue, I'd keep it. I'm returning mine tomorrow.

It seems the bottom of the case blocks the speaker. is there any drop in volume?

There is a small gap on each side near the speakers (sorry I forgot to do a close up of this part of the case). I noticed no drop in volume.

Great review Dave. I have a question: Did you notice any drop in signal strength with the Juice Pack air on your iPhone? I've read that it reduces the signal by about 1-2 bars!

If that's true then that really sucks because it is such a cool product.

Charges iPhone first, then the battery. No need to remove from the case.
