  • ewwwwwwww

  • bot wil it blend ^^

  • I must be a freak...I love to eat my greens. Chew chew chew...big plates of green salads with avocado and olive oil at least twice a day. Plus 32 ounce green juice every a.m. :Love love love my greens!!!!

  • I know of a plant based sweetner. IT'S CALLED SUGAR!

  • How long can you store this drink for?

  • I just bought a Ninja food prep pro and Imma start smoothing tomorrow! and of course Juice fasting with my breville.

  • whaaaa. I am watching a re-run of Wife Swap and I saw your kid pulling 50 weeks. I knew I had seen that garden before. Weird.

  • Being that I'm striving to be the change that I wish to see in the world I find drinking fruit and vegetable smoothies inappropriate at times when you consider that people who are looking from a distance may not know what it is that I am drinking so they may mistake my health drink for a soda or juice and that is not what I promote.I have nothing to hide so I -from time to time-would prefere to eat my fruits and veggies as is in public.Let kids see the actual fruit, not some concoction in a cup.

  • I like it, but it's like eating baby food.

  • Whenever I see anybody make these green smoothies my first thought is always: HOLY SHIT SO MUCH KALE. WILL IT BLEND?

  • About how many cups of greens did you use?

  • that is the way to be healthy and live up to 120 - life is wonderful take green smoothie its work for me - I am a 1/2 century old and I looks 20 inside and outside my docter said.,.,:)with a smile

  • I know flax oil is really healthy, but I can not STAND what oil does to the texture of a smoothie. I do put in ground flaxseed.

  • @TickleMeSilly- If you watch the video closely you will see that she already had liquid in the blender before she put the greens in. You can see the water move.

  • @mtmomma100 You're right. Didn't notice that before. Thanks for pointing that out. Made me look stupid. LOL

  • Did she put any liquid into the smoothie?

  • @MissLalaland89 No she didn't. You don't need to add any liquid. Powerful blenders like the Blendtec she is using or a Vitamix will destroy any ingredients you put into them and turn them into smoothie goodness. But if you want a more watery smoothie, then by all means add your liquid.

  • omg thank you for this recipe i agree more greens is absolutely necessary :)

  • fantastic smoothie!! Has the flax seed oil lost its potency because the lid is off?--i switched to grinding flax seeds with a coffee bean grinder because i used to forget to put the lid on.

  • The bananas really do make all the difference

  • @Thewrathofpaul bananas will kill the taste of anything

  • I like to use mint and honey tea as a base, then mix in some frozen strawberries, but to each their own. Nice video!

  • I've heard you are not supposed to mix fruit with greens (with the exception of apple), because they are not compatible, enzyme-wise.

  • @robbgorringe supposedly that is 'vegetables and fruit' while greens aren't technically vegetables.

  • The word ORGANIC wasn't uttered once. Nice presentation, but all your greens NEED to be organic!!

  • SSSHHHHH... We don't want cows to find out about this.

  • I just smoked mad arugula to the dome nigga. Nahhhh mean?

  • does it make you gassy?

  • GAAAAAAAAAAAAAY

  • why did she said green smoothie when its not green at all , its like purple!

  • Should have listed the ingredients

  • whoa

this blender mixes so much oxygen into the smoothie......

  • it must be for diet, wanna try it.. :)

  • Hey! Have you considered intellectus 424 diet (just google it)? Ive heard some incredible things about it and my cooworker lost a ton of weight with it.

  • does this really taste good? I'm so doubtful.

  • @hawkin28 Yes it tastes really good. The appearance of every smothie is really horrible, but... you only taste the fruit flavor (mostly banana) you put into the blender:-) Enjoy your smoothie...

  • what's the liquid? just water?

  • I also do an amazing spinach smoothie. I blend spinach, [1] banana, [2 TBLS] honey, [1 c] orange juice and grapes. It's amazing and it fills me up! ;)

  • KIJK OOK EENS OP MANGOSMOOTHIES.NL

  • KIJK OOK EENS OM MANGOSMOOTHIES.NL

  • LOOK AT MANGOSMOOTHIES.NL

  • great demo! Thanks!

  • Your smoothie looks so good. Check out the grossest looking smoothie that is actually "Delicious" at "Top Secret Smoothie Recipe" from BabyPandaTales

  • This lady is fucking awesome.

  • Hey great video =D

I am wondering what kind of blender is that?

I really want to make green smoothies, I actually don't own a blender. I just graduated and cannot afford to have a vitamix unless I ask my parents to pay for it...but it's sooo expensive..

Do you know a good less expensive blender that is good for green smoothies? (I don't plan on adding super tough hard veggies to begin with anyways)

    Thank you :D

  • @TikiTubeable lol nevermind, I totally missed the start when you named the blender :D

  • @TikiTubeable Check out the juicer in my video. Its super cheap on Amazon!

  • I'm new to the green smoothie scene (4 months). The recipe you used is standard for me, all except the flax oil. I have flax seeds. Have you ever tried blending them?

  • Good job :) I recently made a green smoothie with greens I harvested from the forest. Check it out on my homepage if you're interested :)

  • Love the ingredients you used in this recipe.

  • What blender did you use? Thanks.

  • Doesn't freezing berries destroy much of its nutritional value? I sure hope not because using frozen berries would be a hell of a lot less hassle.

  • Thank you! You are a great teacher GOD BLESS you!

  • I made a green smoothie last night using kale, spinach, banana, pineapple and strawberries, i also added a bit of chia seeds. My son loved it:)

  • @romrhythm Is kale the same as broccoli?

  • Awesome blender

  • at the end it looks like brown smoothie not green :p

  • I just made a Kale, Banana, Almond and Lettece Smoothie and I'm high as a kite.

  • @leahcimrac

Can you explain why you add the lettuce? It's my understanding that there's no nutritional value in it. Thanks in advance.

  • @1000mishi If there was no nutritional value in it then it wouldn't be alive in the first place. Any living fruit or vegetable has protein and emzymes in it. i generally put it in for the water content anyway. Also it goes soooo well with banana for some reason. I've lately stepped away fruit however. I find my blood sugar levels were too high and I don't care where you get sugar from its still sugar and too much is very bad for you. "Green only" smoothies are best if you ask me.

  • @leahcimrac

That makes sense. Thanks for your quick reply.

  • @1000mishi No problem. Enjoy :)

  • @leahcimrac hahahahahahahahahaha that just made my night

  • @leahcimrac lol sure there weren't any other "greens" in your smoothie? lol jk haha

  • @tomasbermea lol nope but when your clean fruits make you feel so good.

  • so i can put the pulp in my smoothies.. cause for lunch i do 2 bananas, bluberries, 1 cup of water, and a handful of spinach...

  • is there that much difference between juicing and smoothies

  • @burbanmadness Yes, juicing doesn't give you the fiber that smoothies do. All that pulp left over from juicing is full of goodness so it is better to have it all in a smoothie.

  • I really want to start doing this and your video had help inspire me :) We've been growing many organic vegetables that I know would taste great. Thanks again!

  • Any suggestions on a blender that doesnt cost 300 dollars? I saw the ones you recommend but honestly I can afford that ! Any other ideas?

  • Hi Robin, serious question here. Recently, in Oct 2010, a large tumor was found on my ovary. It was surgically removed and was determine to be Ovarian cancer Stage 1A. I'm currently going through chemo right now because the cancer was a rare type and very aggressive. Thank God it was caught early on. Recently, you shared the your grandmother overcame stage 4 cancer while raw foods. I currently do a smoothie each morning using the Sun Warrior protien powder. I used to include some greens (cont.)

  • I have a better smoothie for athletes and training...

    Pre workout

1 small glass off beetroot juice (nitrates improve blood flow and increase performance) ,small glass of coconut water (electrolytes and hydration), 1 banana, small cup of oats (fuel and carbs), drizzle of honey, hand full of frozen peachesand a cup of protein shake

  • question: i have a Blendtec. what buttons are pressing? are you whole juicing it or smoothing it?

  • should i be rinsing my spinach first

  • @1800tellmama yes :) I always do

  • .....I have never heard of these vegetables..... can i get them in tescos??

  • I want a blendtec :(

  • great video, tried it the banana's made it great, thank you

  • Thanks for the video. I'm just starting out with smoothies. I'm a bit hit and miss when trying different ingredients. My favourite so far is spinach, grapes and blueberries.

  • Nice Videos!!

  • I have a feeling I'm just feeding a troll here, so this will be my last post on your video, GSG. Sorry for the multi-posts. Some just didn't appear to go through is all.

The truth is that in choosing either the VM or BT, have a machine that vastly outperforms the competitors, which is the key in our path to good health.

As long as people do their own independent research on the pros and cons of each and decide which machine's hoops they would be most willing to jump through, they'll be fine.

  • @LunarBahamut

The argument is not whether a VM can be a good tool. Vm makes a powerful machine that can last a long time. However, the overarching point here is that when comparing the features and the facts between VM and Blendtec, it makes no sense at all to consider a VM, as the Blendtec is superior in every single feature.

  • @PE425 But the Vita-Mix has a much faster RPM rate, and I also like the tamper feature. I haven't really needed to use it yet, it just helps to get stuff off the side of the containers and into the vortex.

Also, the Vita-mix does a MUCH better job with peanut butter, requiring no oil.

But that is mainly because of the tamper, if Blendtec had a tamper for really thick processes like ice cream with only frozen fruit (using no liquid) and a better warranty on the container, I'd go the blendtec.

  • @TheLoserKingdom You can make a great green smoothie with either one of these machines. If you are satisfied with a VM, then that is great. However, don't kid yourself. VM is no match for Blendtec, and even VM knows it. In VM's top of the line models, they tried to copy Blendtec's advanced design, which is in in ALL Blendtec models, and have been convicted of patent theft. VM will be paying $11 to $33+ million to Blendtec in the largest patent fraud case in Utah history.

  • @TheLoserKingdom You are also incorrect about the wrnty. Just like VM, Blendtec's standard jar wrnty is 3yrs. However, the Blendtec jar also has a LIFETIME wrnty on the blade and coupling. With VM, you PAY for the standard wrnty in the price diff. Also, you can buy a brand NEW Blendtec jar cheaper than the cost of a REPLACEMENT VM blade/gasket assembly, which will wear out and is NOT covered by VM's wrnty. Therefore, Blendtec's wrnty is much better.

  • @TheLoserKingdom Also, the harder you have to work getting the ingredients out of a VM jar, the more likely you are going to have food waste, ruin a rubber spatula, or cut your fingers. Moreover, you will need to remove the VM blade/gasket assembly for adequate cleaning.

  • @TheLoserKingdom It is much easier to scoop ingredients out of the Blendtec than the VM, because of the wider jar base and DULL 2-prong blade. With the VM, it is much harder to get ingredients out from around the blade and all the nooks from the uselessly-elaborate VM jar shape.

  • @TheLoserKingdom When it comes to extremely thick or sticky items, a tamper is going to be useless. A tamper is not going to help you with ingredients stuck to walls or the bottom. Invariably, if the ingredients become thick enough, a rubber spatula works best, regardless if its a Blendtec or a VM. Outside of such a super thick or sticky blending scenario requiring a spatula, a tamper is often necessary with a VM, but is NEVER needed on a Blendtec.

  • @TheLoserKingdom Where do I start? You are highly misinformed. Unless the blades are exactly the same size, RPM's is an apple to orange comparison, and is not going to help you. It is the SPEED of the blades that make a huge difference. The smaller VM blade spins up to 240MPH, wheareas the Blendtec spins up to 300MPH, and does this using a much longer and wider blade, and 30% more powerful motor. BTW: These are two of the reasons why the Blendtec does NOT need a tamper or a SHARP blade.

  • @LunarBahamut Instead of addressing the facts presented, (overwhelmingly obvious due to you being biased and misinformed), and not letting your pride get in the way of any sound objectivity, you obviously prefer to keep digging yourself a deeper hole. You have been corrected many times on your misinformation. No one can bother you with the pesky facts, as you have made up your mind. Nevertheless, you have been clowned.

  • @LunarBahamut You also couldn't address the point that a replacement blade/gasket assembly for your USED VM jar costs MORE than a NEW 64oz Blendtec jar. Even a new Blendtec 96oz jar is a better deal. You also couldn't address the point that you pay for the VM warranty just in the base price difference between VM and Blendtec, yet you suggest that Blendtec is too costly? Funny how that works. If you stopped spreading rumors and had your facts straight, it would be less embarrasing for you.

  • @LunarBahamut You were wrong about Blendtec's jar being only 1yr. You're also wrong about VM jar having 7yr standard wrnty. The VM BASE is 7yrs. The VM jar wrnty is 3yrs like Blendtec, yet you went on and on about VM's superior wrnty?...and I am the troll here? Give us all a break. Obviously, you also couldn't address the point that Blendtec's blade/coupling has a standard LIFETIME wrnty, so if the Blendtec jar leaks, it's covered long after the VM jar wrnty expires and starts leaking.

  • @LunarBahamut I did research on Blentec & VM LONG before you posted (Amazon as well). NOWHERE has there been any reliable report or proof of a Blendtec jar leaking. It's always someone "heard" about it from someone else. Nevertheless, even under such dubious claims, you have clearly exaggerated, is a suspicious, dishonest concern, since VM jars are far more likely to leak due to the removable blade/gasket assembly, and yet you express zero concern about VM jars leaking. Funny how that works.

  • Oh, but I forgot. Any person you encounter with a personal story of a leaking jar has a vendetta against VM.

How convenient for you to be able to be so dismissive of a reality that doesn't conform to your worldview.

  • As far as providing you a link to BT leaking jars, just Google it. I can't post links in YT comments apparently, but there's no shortage of people who had to shell out tons of cash just after their warranty expired. It's like $60-$80, which would make the price between the BT and VM nearly identical, but then you're taking a chance with the 3yr warranty instead of the 7yr, when it's entirely possible the motor/base would fail. Peace of mind is nice.

  • @LunarBahamut Moreover, Blendtec offers a LIFETIME warranty on the blade and coupling (where blade assembly is factory-sealed at jar), so if the jar were to leak (which it will not), it could only happen where blade is fastened to jar (read: coupling), and is therefore covered by lifetime warranty. VM does not offer a lifetime warranty on anything. All of this blows your "worry" and your nonsense right out of your VM blender.

  • @LunarBahamut I bought my Blendtec base and jars a long time ago directly from Blendtec, and I got an EIGHT year warranty on everything (promo). Again, If you had to replace the jar right after the warranty expired (3yrs), it would STILL be cheaper than VM jars, replacement parts, etc. VM's warranty is a false sense of security, and a false sense of economy as well. With VM, you are actually paying for that "7yr warranty", by the price differences in the base, jars, and VM's replacement parts.

  • @LunarBahamut Gaskets wear out, especially fast if you take your blade assembly apart periodically to clean it thoroughly, which is necessary in a 4-prong blade design, which is why the FDA requires VM's blade assembly to be removable.

  • @LunarBahamut No, Google shows ZERO proof of Blendtec jars leaking. Again, it is a lame rumor started by devoted VM followers. However, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that a VM jar not only has a much greater chance of leaking, but it WILL leak because VM jars have a removable blade/gasket assembly.

  • @PE425

If you can't be bothered to do some simple research, that's your problem. There is a form at Amazon of people discussing their leaky jars. There are other forum posts. These people *have* had to shell out money for jars failing in the line of duty. If the VM leaks (which could happen), it is replaced for FREE. For 7 years.

Apparently you need things reiterated several times prior to reaching an understanding. If it ever comes.

  • Well it is possible to find BT blenders with a 3yr warranty, I have found. Seems to be a recent change, where especially with the larger WildSide jars the leaking issue becomes less of a concern and they offer the same standard 3-yr warranty on everything. If you bought one a year or 18 months ago, the rule was a 1yr jar warranty. In any case, a BT jar lasting 3-4 yrs and needing replacement at $70-$80 is more worry than I'm willing to deal with. People will decide for themselves.

  • In any case, for GSG: I've been drinking daily green smoothies for 2 weeks now, since I bought my blender, and would like to chime in regarding how awesome they are. They taste great and I'm getting many more greens than I otherwise would. You and Victoria Boutenko have done me a great service with the videos and books, and it is much appreciated.

  • @LunarBahamut, You cannot produce one single reliable source of a Blendtec jar leaking, and you know it. Even GreenSmoothieGirl can attest to VITAMIX jars leaking! She has had an article along with a photo of what happened when her Vitamix jar leaked all over the place. Why the VM warranty is unimpressive is because it is built into the price. Blendtec's warranty is better because it doesn't cost you anything. Just compare the prices between them, plus the cost difference on jars / parts!

  • Includes: 3-year motor-base warranty; 1-year jar warranty; lifetime coupling-and-blade warranty

Direct from the Amazon.com listing for the Blendtec. You get a 3tr warranty on the jar only if you buy a separate jar. In the complete package, it's a different story.

If you want to convince me, answer directly, if the Blendtec is so reliable, why would they not just offer a 7yr warranty like the VM?

  • @LunarBahamut, you need to go directly to Blendtec's site for accurate warranty information. If you are concerned about leaking, then VM should be avoided because they have a removable blade gasket assembly. The gasket will wear out, and will begin leaking. For about the cost of replacing the VM blade and gasket assembly, you can buy a new Blendtec jar, which makes the warranty (the only thing left you try to cling to) totally moot. If the Blendtec jar fails within 3yrs, it is covered.

  • You know, every time you reply, my inbox beeps at me. Try and be concise. Good grief.

The only reason I bring up Blendtec jars leaking after 1 yr (check Amazon's reviews) is that you'd pay for a replacement, because the jar, unlike the base, is only covered for 1 yr. If a Vitamix jar leaks, it's covered under the warranty. People have kept Vitamix machines for decades. Funny that you say a 7yr warranty when compared to 3 yr is unimpressive.

  • Hi Robin, I love making smoothies, today in my nutrition class my teacher was talking about good sources of calcium and kale is an excellent one, then she said something that totally made me sad she said that when you mix berries (any kind of berry) with calcium, because of oxadase (enzyme) it inhibits calcium absorption, had you ever hear of that?

  • OK! I have seen so many green smoothie recipes and all of them are made with fruits!... I cant have fruits but will love to make a green smoothie with just greens is their a way i could still make it taste good! i could have raw stevia but is that enough to make it taste good???

  • I hate eating veggies cooked, in salads, as a side, or as a main, except for those in burgers, needless to say all my previous commitment to '5 a day' goes out the window within a week. After I discovered green smoothie, I've consistently hit the WHO's recommendation of 400g veg per day for the past 2 months, it made weight loss soooo much easier

  • I love green smoothies! I drink them everyday :)

  • eu vou fazer amei a receita muito obrigado!

  • I eat all raw veggies. Kale and broccoli and tons of others. I do not make smoothies out of greens. My mother can't swallow right now so this smoothie would be good for her.

  • your web site is awesome!! thank you for putting out such great info!!

  • i watched your video and went to make a green smoothies...it tastes good, but i need to get use to the texture of it. thanks for sharing this healthy lifestyle with us all

  • how many cups do you drink a day? please reply i want to do this for thirty days for a cleanse and to lose some weight

  • Yummy! I told my friends mom and my mom about it and they say it is a great idea! You are like a little Albert Einstien! I will tottaly have to try it! Thanks for the idea! You rock! Please reply below. . . . . . .

  • OMG I LOVE THIS!!!

    I just made a Napa Cabbage-Mango-Orange-Banana-Pineapple smoothie!!! IT'S DELICIOUS!! :D

  • GREAT!! BUT how long will smoothies generally last for. being that u cant dring 15 fucking cups at once!!!

  • Great video. Thanks for posting.

  • Enjoy the video ! Thanks wantanmien

  • LOVE green smoothies. I've been drinking them for several years now and have definitely seen an improvement in my health. Especially in improving my cholesterol numbers. I've never used beet greens before. I'll definitely try them now. Thank you so much for your video... Candi - myinnerhealthouterbeauty

  • did you have water in there when you put in the greens?

  • Interesting video demo with lot of views. How do you make this video?

    w3.juiceextractormachines,com

  • lol, such a better alternative to a green smoothie, I think brown smoothies are so much more visually pleasing. =P Kidding, I love this video! Thanks so much for the upload.

  • Can i use a jack Lalane food processor/juicer to make them? I have lost 20 Lbs this summer from trying to amp up my veggies and fruits but still not managing to get enough in everyday, so I would really like to do this. Also do you buy your kale, chard and collards organic?

  • I've fallen in love with green smoothies,

My favorite recipe (so far) is

an apple with 2 cups spinach, about 9 coconut water ice cubes, and about 1/4 tsp of spirulina :)

I need to try it out with collard next time though

  • wow she has a big family, she the very sexy indeed, the hottest lady on youtube

  • wawawea I want some of that, and I'm not talking about the smoothie. I'm sure the smoothie is good though I make them all the time.

She is so tough and sexy! I want to see her in a leopard Tarzan outfit!!

  • So just wondering... I saw the video skip frame when you were blending just the kale and spinach and beet greens... how long did that actually take? Did you add water or juice or something to begin with? What was the liquid in the blender with the greens? :D Thanks!

  • @jeimyandjonathan She added water, and sometimes it takes a cpl tries for the blades to catch onto the greens... the blades will be spinning but the way the greens may be sitting in there, they just dont catch. You just gotta take the lid off, move that shit around, and youre good! :)

  • now thats a very healthy lady.

  • Hey! I just made one today that actually tastes really good! The normal ones I make, like yours, arent bad, but this one is 100% good tasting.

I used kale and spinach, and added a pear, some frozen berries, a key lime, 1/2 avacodo, some goji berries, banana, and I added a scoop of natural strawberry protein powder, so just use some extra frozen strawberries I guess if you dont have that.

Try it out its good stuff!

  • we have an expensive Jack Lalane juicer, but a regular blender. Would it work to do the greens in the juicer then combine with the other ingredients in the blender to make the smoothie?

  • @danbaxley You lose a lot of fiber from juicing - especially when you use greens like kale.

  • Thank you kindly for the video. This is not a knock towards you but thank you for making me feel good about returning the Blendtec for the Vitamix. At 1:17 of your video, you cut out the part of you stopping to open the Blendtec and moving everything around to actually start blending again. Blentec blenders suck compared to Vitamix. You don't really need the 3hp (unless you want to blend and eat your shoe) that they advertise about and they lie about the size of the larger jar.

  • @whatthefluk. Actually, it is the Vitamix that sucks! With a Blendtec, you don't need a silly tamper for manual intervention. Vitamix has been making the same old antiquated design for several decades, while Blendtec has been far more innovative, resulting in numerous advancements that make the Blendtec ridiculously better than Vitamix! As if you need more proof, just check out RawFoodWorld Vitamix vs. Blendtec for side-by-side performance tests. Vitamix is a joke!

  • @PE425

If the Blendtec is as great as you claim, you'd think the company could stand behind their product with a warranty that meant something. I don't have either one yet, but after serious review-checking, there are innumerable accounts of Blendtec jars leaking after 1 yr (which means the warranty is out) and needing replacement. About $80. What good is a "lifetime guarantee" on the blades when the blades are connected to the jar and the jar fails? Vitamix 7-yr warranty is impressive.

  • Comment removed

  • @LunarBahamut, Instead of buying a replacement gasket/blade for a beat up VM 5200 jar, a Blendtec user could buy a NEW 3qt jar (VM only offers 64oz) for the same money a sad VM user will spend for replacement parts on their old jar. If they were to replace the blade/gasket assembly for both their "wet" and "dry" jars, then it is TWICE the price of a Blendtec jar (which handles BOTH wet and dry blends). No matter how you try to look at it, you are much better off with Blendtec, hands down!

  • @LunarBahamut On top of that, you have to use a separate "dry" and "wet" jar to do the same as 1 Blendtec jar. Plus with VM, you have to replace gaskets, blades, etc., as they wear out. Moreover, for the cost of a VM, jars, and maintenance, you could throw away a good Blendtec jar and get a new one every 3 yrs, and you would STILL be better off with a Blendtec! VM's warranty, along with the cost of replacement blade/gasket assembly alone, is a false sense of economy.

  • @LunarBahamut I purchased my Blendtec directly from their site during a promo, and received a 8yr/80K cycle warranty, which covered the base, blade, AND jar w/o extra cost. Also, you need to get your facts straight: Blendtec jars currently come with a 3yr warranty, NOT a 1yr warranty. Nevertheless, I would rather take their 3yr warranty on the jar instead of buying a VM 5200. VM's warranty is not impressive at all. It is more of a gimmick, as that 7yr warranty is built in to the price.

  • @LunarBahamut, You don't know what you are talking about. Your claim that there are "innumerable accounts" of Blendtec jars leaking is nonsense drummed up by VM raw foodies, never has been proven, and is dubious at best. If you're sincerely worried about leaking, then you're concern should be with VM jars because the blade/gasket assembly is required by FDA law to be removable. Gaskets naturally wear out and will begin leaking. A factory-sealed blade/jar eliminates the possibility of leaks.

  • @whatthefluk no way. youre still using that stick with the vitamix. only difference is youre taking the top off with the blendtec. and thats if you need to. ususally i dont. so i think we will all take that issue and have the power, over the vitamix.

  • hey i saw u on an episode of wife swap

  • Wow! My name is Todd too!! And, I love green smoothies - it looks delicious!

  • WOOO HOOO I had seen you before. Today I was watching wife swap and I saw you. Wow, what was it like? anyways, I do feel that that lady was weird and that you were right about there wierd screamo music crap. PLEASE REPLY

  • Here's what it was like. The whole thing was scripted. Each week they have one person who is supposed to be "controlling" and one who is overly permissive. If you don't fit the mold (i.e., I wanted to have a big party, and do lots of stuff I'd NORMALLY do), they'll force it. They asked me a million times to say that "controlling" quote and I wouldn't, so they strongarmed me. They put words in my kids' mouths, told them what to say (stuff that wasn't even true). Cut and spliced scenes together.

  • @GreenSmoothieGirl wow, that sounds like it wouldnt be that fun. Now I know that your not overcontrolling but when they got you on that show they made you look like that. And I agree that you dont make your kids do to much. How did you feel though when that one kid wrote on your rules? Jeeze thank you SO much for replying. I'm 13 yrs old and this is REALLY cool that your replying. THANKS YOU PLEASE REPLY AGAIN :)

  • @GreenSmoothieGirl hi! i wanted to ask if it's ok to put the smoothie in the fridge or does it need to be consumed asap?

  • @Bluepaws Im pretty sure its best to drink it right away. Oxidizing starts to happen and degrades the nutrients.

I often wish you could tho because Im just making it for myself but I always end up with a whole blender full due to all the stuff I throw in there ;) So I drink it all... in the run of about a half hour.

  • @thatstheguy07 thanks! I guess that makes sense..i left it for 24hrs in the fridge and drank it again..it was still good but seemed more pulpy. I'll have to start to make a smaller batch..don't want to waste the good stuff

  • @GreenSmoothieGirl wow, I've been watching so many episodes lately because for some reason it facinates me that some people are so..... afraid to be outside their bubble. it crossed my mind a little that maybe it was over-dramatizied and scripted, but dang! horrible TV people....

  • @GreenSmoothieGirl wow thats for letting us know that. i didnt think wife swap was like that, i jus though they always chose abnormal ppl lol.. i didnt think it was actually scripted.

  • @GreenSmoothieGirl You were on wife swap??? lol I would love to see that. How can I find the episode?

  • @GreenSmoothieGirl I kinda figure that show was scripted. It didn't looked real imo :/ Side Note: That looks delicious, I want to try it one day :D

  • @GreenSmoothieGirl That totally figures! Great videos.

  • @GreenSmoothieGirl I like your videos but why on earth would you be on as idiotic a show as "Wife Swap"? sigh
