I won't laught too loudly as this sort of thing has happened to me. Looks like the model in the air is going damn fast for vintage diesel, though. We poor sods in the USA are restricted to 70mph. What engines are you using...?
From what I've heard, the UK has gone very "gamey" with many people bending the rules and flying cynically (deliberate mid airs). Sportsmanship seems to have gone out of the window. How will they ever get youngsters into the sport at those prices? Seems it needs to go back to basics with a simple formula (say a stock PAW) and some strong refereeing.
Some days ya just can't win.

They're using Harrison or Fisher tuned Paw.19s bored out to 3.5cc costing about US$500 - $600 for the mods on top of buying the base motor!
That is what is killing it for the little guy over in the UK.
