Yeah. I got to turn ~650 on this clip thnx to my Pc that I borrowed from Area 51. But it was ~1 week after release, so now, after they broke everything in 1,5 year of patching I probably would need cybernetic brain from other dimension to run it that far. So yeah, definietly beware if you don't have AT LEAST "NASA computers".

@muchlove59 I have and yes, humans are blood thirsty creatures. Its not the war that bothers me, it's just that this game has taken away all of the key features I LOVED. If I wanted to play a game with endless war Id play RomeTW In Civ 5 they took away religions, corporations, a HUGE part of government control and the joy I felt every time I converted everyone into either voting me or into a pile of rubble. I don't dislike the war in the game, Im just POed that their is nothing else to the game!

@bigisgood2011 civ 5 is more based on wars.. they have a new system that permit to archers and catapults to do ranged attacks whitout receiving damage. Also you cant eat an ennemy city with culture. Also, citys defend by themself even if there is no units in it (it becomes stronger as the population in it increases) i think its a better game but both are fun

@GillyFTW Yep-__- Doesn't really matter if you ran Civ 4 with good fps and whatnot. This game is def quite demanding in the sense that its a rather new game but still its not nearly as demanding as Crysis, BF3 and those demanding fuckers. Conclusion: Your average notebook or desktop proooobably wont be able to run it. If you got your hands on a gaming rig(expensive or not) of some sort... well go have some fun then:)

omg, i know this has been brought up many times, but can i get some thumbs up so this shows. SC2 is fucking rts, meaning it runs on real time, so everything your doing and your opponent(s) are all based on actual time, not how fast you do things. Civ 5 is turn based, meaning however fast it takes u to take your turn, thats how fast your side of the game moves. You cannot compare these games, because it takes 2 different mentalities and play styles, so stfu about which is better.

seal of approval, heh. BUT, the civ is not rts (and I hope it will never be - excluded Civ Worlds via FB). That is why you have a choice - choose CIV for some old-timer "omg, lemme think a little about next step", choose SC2 if you want "OMG, how you click so fast". Totally different games, no need to compare. Shogun is totally different story too, if you can - buy Civ 5, Shogun and SC2. And have fun, all of them are worth their price.

@GramatonBlog I actually hate shogun. Couldn't really figure it out, and AOE/Empire earth, seemed sooooo much more fukkin' worth it. I'd also rather play SC4 with all the expansions, tho SC2 was fun while it lasted. My dad used to do this krazy computer shit where he'd manipulate the code to have us start a new city with 4 BILLION dollars. I still forget how even tho I've asked him repeatedly since the mid 90's...ha!

@Robobobo717 None. Pick up these games instead: Starcraft is overall better the the second game . Rome: total war is still the BEST total war game (by far) Ignore CIV V. its shit. Pick up CIV IV with Warlords and beyond the sword and be hooked forever these are older but much better game, trust me

@danisl17 I don't have any new games for my PC, the newest is Sims 3 from summer 2009. I've played CIV IV and I like CIV V better, IMO. My choice is between these three games, those are my final three choices. I appreciate the fact that you tried to convince me otherwise, but these are my final decisions. I may as well torrent them to get a real taste for them, then buy it from there.

@Robobobo717 Toss up between Civ or Shogun 2. If you just like the strategy part then Civ... if you want real battles then shogun 2. Shogun 2 is a harder game imo... if you want simple fun and want to just get into it than Civ for sure.
