good explaination brother, but I was most likely looking to know how to blend vocals to a beat so it could perfectly fit in and be only one...please hit me back up and yeah you can check my music on my page and you probably will see what I'm talking about lol the vocals aren't really one with the beat... it sounds separate

@mortlock100 Actually, for a condenser microphone $100 is dirt cheap. The U87ai he showed sells for about $3,399. Add to that the fact that if you buy that kind of mic you'll need a preamp of similar quality (anywhere between $1,600-$3,000), and a great compressor (around $2,000), not to mention a quality AD/DA converter if you are recording all this to a DAW. So yeah, $100, that's dirt cheap.
