Really good video!!! i really like Beetle producing this kind of footage that, far from the real comparison of speeds, shows the beetle going against the machine, says Bjorn, the many times windsurfing world champion that is a legend of speed.

i think the beetle should stay out of racing for selling features if a motorless windsurfer can take one down. i mean, youre relying on the speed of wind. the car should be able to pick its own speed and get there pretty quickly if racing is going to be a selling feature. maybe they should have put it up against a 3 legged cat swimming in the ocean. :)

@mrbelgium Actually, windsurfers are one of fastest if not the fastest sailing crafts on the water-- reaching speeds over 60 mph. And Bjorn is one of the quickest windsurfers in the world. For any sedan to go that fast through the uneven sand and water is impressive. Don't you think?
