sorry, I have never ACTUALLY played this game... its just as far as I have seen, it is impossible to avoid. What is this speed booster thingie? Is it that powerup thing that makes you go oodles faster? Sorry for bugging you about this. The only metroid game I have played is the... first... one... Right now I would be going onto ridley, but I cant get the Energy tank at Kraid's room... I am focusing so hard trying to get it, I am currently sweating... taking a break though.

There is a creepwallthingie blocking the way to the BOX (only breakable with super missiles, which are aquired just before the BOX-fight), so you need to run around and inevitably pick up that missile expansion. But what you can also do, is use speedbooster to destroy it, the margin of error is really really small, so its almost impossible without tools.

The player used savestates and slowdown to create a perfect run and at least I think it's fachinating to see such godlike piece of art.

No cheats. I've read all about the 0% runs. It's tool-assisted, to get past the one (almost) mandatory missle tank, but otherwise, all you really need is that perfect shinespark, which is, as already said, almost impossible without tools.

That missile expansion is very possible to skip, thanks to a perfect timed shinespark. UnTASed 0% run is rather hard, close to impossible.

Cheating devices...? Let me tell you about TAS. They are in a genre in themself and should never ever be compared to real runs. TAS-runners fight vs eachothers records and real-time runners fight vs their records. Never a TAS-runner will fight vs a realtime record.

TAS is only something that enhances your gameplay, you still need to be skilled to utilize it. It is no cheat.

This run has tons of improvements compared to my first run, so I expect miracles ;).
