Lol, 'burns up the oxygen'. So, the oxygen (02) no longer exists, thus creating a vacuum? Where did it go? Wow, that IS magic. No. The fire is heat, a catalyst, which 'helps' the oxygen to bond to heavy carbon (C), creating heavier CO2 molecules (btw, chemical reaction). The molecules are closer together(denser). THIS causes the internal pressure to be less than external. The external pressure pushes the egg into the bottle (physics).

@theRealTrash80 Actually, it's Chemistry. Burning the match gets out the compound of air which is Nitrogen and Oxygen, which leaves the inside as a vacuum. Since air's pressure is 14.7 pounds, the air pressure of 14.7 pounds outside pushes the egg inside because the pressure inside is significantly lower.

@TheEihcnem when the matches burn, they heat up the air inside the bottle and release steam n causes the air inside the bottle to expand, forcing some out of the bottle, egg seals the top of the bottle, matches run out of oxygen and go out, the air in bottle cools, volume of air inside the bottle drops due to condensation of the water vapor and the cooling of dry air....exerts less pressure on the egg b/c the air pressure outside of the bottle doesn't chang.. overcoming friction :D ..

A vacuum simple chemistry, as the fire burns it burns all the oxygen in the bottle as well therfore creating a vacuum which sucks in the egg combine that with the slippery surface of the (peeled egg) and also some condesation making more slip and your egg slides into bottle simple.

To get the egg out you could just smash the bottle or if you're too fucked up to do that maybe you could swing it around a few times see what happens then.

The egg has to be hard boiled because it has to be almost like a rubber, the fire in the bottom needs oxygen to stay lit. Because of that reason it creates a sucking movement with the air and it pull the egg into the glass jar. If you use a solid egg there is not enough pulling force to morph the hard shell of the egg to fall into the container.

no ^^ the trick is that the fire raises the pressure inside the bottle. when you place the egg on it, the air can still expand. but when it cools down you have a lower pressure inside the bottle then the normal air pressure around it. so its pushing the egg inside the bottle. it works the other way round too ^^ put the bottle upside down, facing the egg slim side down. then blow against the egg straight into the bottle
