Why study languages?

Holy cow! I understood all of that except the Bulgarian and Greek questions. The only reason for that is I'm not too exposed to those languages. This defiantly hits home the point that learning at least a little bit of a foreign language relevant to your needs is very important and brings people closer.

we were shown this at school today and i was in fits, no one could see what was so funny. At the end they ask 3 times why should we study Greek, and noone knows what the hell to say, lol. And yet out of the languages i think Greek is probably the most beautiful

The one at the end was Greek. The others were Italian, French, Spanish and Bulgarian. Chose Greek!!!! : )
