I've always noticed with GT that the cars handle totally robotically and don't slide really unless you e-brake at 17,000MPH. Forza on the other hand actually gives you the power to drift, do sick burnouts, and go past the car's boundaries rather than GT where if you jerk the wheel to the right it'll just body roll a bit no matter what speed and won't let you see what would really happen. If you just yanked the wheel to the right in Forza going fast you'd most certainly die or get into a spin.

GTHD runs on the GT4 engine. GT5Prologue runs on a beta version of the GT5 engine. None of the games are showing the physics or graphics or detail of the final product. To make any comparisons now is just stupid.

Coming from a real racecar driver, nothing on a screen can come close to real life. Forza 2 is pretty close though and I love the car customization. GT is feels bland and it's not nearly as close to real life as forza.

GT is cool and all, but driving cars that look just like everyone else makes it bland. FM2 doesn't have "crap graphics" at all, they are fairly nice. GT just happens to have better shadows here.

And as far as realism, if you've ever played Forza with the force feedback wheel, and you have ever raced a real car in real life, you will know that is is spot-on. If you haven't done either, you have no room to talk, believe me.

The suspension barely rolls around a corner in GTHD. That's what has always driven me crazy with GT: very poor physics. You can't feel the weight of the car in GTHD

Forza 2 is infinitely more realistic and more of a simulator than GT ever can be.. In GT you can still do 'gamey' things such as plow through corners or ram other cars, with no ramifications.. You can't even compare the two really, its not even close.

Visually GTHD is better and has more cars including vehicles that some may never even race in their wildest dreams. they only can do much with damage system cuz of the licensing with registered cars. Also the damage system isn't just cosmetics, it's also engine work damage, alignment, gearbox, etc. And when you do hit a wall at 70mph the engine takes a lot and you can see the difference in alignment and especially in acceleration lol.
