Mike Emrick with John Davison: Great (IMO the greatest American announcer pairing)

Glowing puck: Not so great

Techno theme music: Good for its time (it was the 90s, after all)

Fighting Robots: Great for easily impressed children, which I was at the time.

So, some good and some bad.

fgarcia20 doesnt care, because they cant. Hockey is the most INTENSE sport ever. There is no out of bounds, there is one 1 time out per team, goalie pads as big as the great wall of china (Therefore, its hard to score.) Players hit HARD where fiber glass is at, or open ice hit (Those are the best.) Hockey is the sports that makes football look like wimps, baseball players seem boring, and basketball players looks tame. Theres soccer, too, and it does look like soccer... just more fun. :)

Man, I miss the NHL on FOX, even though I like football, basketball and baseball better than hockey...In fact, the NHL on FOX was a hockey version of the NBA on NBC...No matter what team played, u wanted to watch a game, even if it involved the Florida Panthers/Tampa Bay Lightning, Chicago Blackhawks/Los Angeles Kings, etc...The NHL is whack on NBC...I want it back on ABC and/or FOX.
