You can see at 2:58-3:04 that when the pirates beging to shake their chains and sing.. the guards begin to back off scared ...you can see fear in their eyeS watching the pirates being so steady and firm even when there are about to die... because "NEVER shall they die"

This is the most evil act I've seen in a Disney movie. Sure, you've got witches stealing souls and what not, but high-concept fantasy threats aren't that scary if you can't imagine yourself in them. But seeing every common right that makes the world somewhat safe from tyranny taken away by a swipe of ink... and seeing a child put in the position of what... because he knew the name of a pirate, he dies? And Beckett did all this JUST to provoke the Pirates Brothern Court into assembling?! RAGE!!!
