  • Hi Ben, I've been watching your vids for sometime now really great stuff. Back in the early 80's I was at college in Blackpool and we heard tha Roy Harper was recording an album at Boilerhouse studios just up the road in Lytham. One night he and Jimmy Page did an impromptu gig at a pub across the road which me and a few others went to. I even recorded them on a crappy walkman casette player (long gone, unfortunately) it was a brill gig. Take care, James, Manchester, UK

  • @crapitoutjim wow now that must of be good shame you loss the tape Ben

  • I have that Seeds album on CD. I don't usually see it on vinyl. I got to see the Seeds back in the 60's on one of those small 5 band tours. They played here in New Hampshire at a local ballroom. They were playing with ? and The Mysterians and The Outsiders (of Time Won't Let Me fame). That Spoonful album with Joe Butler is awesome!

  • @MrPlatypus9 thanks so much for watching and commenting the seeds lp is very cool like it alot Ben

  • Nice way to recommend the gospel, it's cool. Glad you showed Dan Fogelberg. Before his death he was considered a has-been but was always good at what he did.

  • That Seeds is 1966. Did you know that Marvin of Welch and Farrar is Hank Marvin of The Shadows? Love that band. Soft Machine, so excellent! Arthur Brown, classic! Rebourn, excellent! I have that Ten Wheel Drive too. Paul Horn, thumbs up!

  • @dereckvon thanks dereck, i learn from the best ben

  • Had to check my record shelves to see where some of my records had gone to, but thankfully they're still here. Man you picked up some great records, some of which I have aswell!

  • @stephan73 Lol thanks Ben

  • Hello Ben, always great to see you post. That album sounds like she is a Janis Joplin type. That Jugula LP was very underrated. IO remember when the orange and the green 12" was released many years ago. I also know how much that you would love that Its A Beautiful Day album because I know how much you dig a folk sound. That Lovin Spoonful LP surprised everyone because no one thought they would be good without Sebastion. Your musical knowledge gets better and better. Loved it Ben~

    Rob/Boston
