As a scholar of history I have read many other books whose contents I understand to be deeply in error such as Mein Kampf(Hitler), 120 Days of Sodom(De Sade), and numerous works of poor scholarship. Because there is logical, scientific proof in numerous places (dinosaur fossils, carbon dating, the universe around us and the age of stars, evolution ect) that disproves creation. The fact that the world is older than the bible says it is is backed up everywhere, using different methods too. Creation only has one piece of evidence - and that's scripture.

Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Yeah it's amazing that the most unintelligent and least civilsed nation on Earth is the most powerful fighting force.
And the reason people are the animals who have religion is because our brains are so brilliantly architectured to believe in things that are not there. Like zombies, ghosts, and God.
So when you see complete nations fighting each other over a non-existing thing, you could question if we really are the most intelligent organisms on Earth.
