The Ferrari 458 Italia got destroyed. Plain and simple. It had 1 full mile to reel the Porsche Cabrio Turbo in that is almost stock. It simply could not even after having an eternity to reel it back in.

People need to stop making excuses. There is nothing bad about the driver when there is a DCT transmission fitted in the Ferrari. All he needs to do is pull on a paddle. Even after losing the launch, the 458 had 1 mile to reel it in, but it got destroyed all the way.

How could he have been a bad driver...? All you have to do in that car is literally step on the gas, and use your fingers to shift the gears while driving in a straight line. Were you guys expecting some crazy ass tire spinning, rev limiter bouncing, squeal fest? It won't happen because of the launch control. That's what its for. Anybody could drive that Ferrari like that... Which is why I don't like them. All this technology takes the skill out of driving. But he wasn't a bad driver either way

The video I posted before shows that it only revs up to about 3,000 or so RPM. When you said it would be at a much higher RPM. It also shows that Ferrari having a lot of tire spin, probably due to the track conditions, or its in "race" mode or whatever and traction control isn't engaged. Idk. I don't have a Ferrari.

I've driven a lot of different cars down the strip and you can tell, Its not because i'm watching a video on it, it's because i've SEEN them in person, not the Italia exactly, but other Ferraris and Lambos and all sorts of exotics with their Launch/Thrust/Traction Controls, They still spin off the line just not as much.
