Connex/Metro etc have made it an 'us against them' type mentality, hiring standover men to check tickets and harass passengers, never smiling or being friendly, now we will have guards with guns??
I used to love catching the tram to school and seeing the same conductors everyday, we had rapport and I was proud of our system, now..
*sigh* We can all be honest, buy the right ticket upfront and pay to use the system appropriately but seriously...
What they are doing with our money is mostly ridiculous things that dont give back to the public.
over $1.3 billion on Myki when the infrastructure is in desperate need of emergency upgrades to effectively operate and manage increasing passenger loads.
