"This is great" when Howard realized that the caller would confront Pat. Anything for a fucking show. When Howie had Pat's son, daughter AND mother on the phone, when Pat was in studio, that showed how LITTLE Howie cared about Pat. Why doesn't Gary sucker punch Howie and get Howie's ex on the show and she can bitch, on radio, about Stern having been a shitty, boring, husband. Artie to Stern "Arguing is music to your ears." Stern's a fucking user, hypocrite and back stabber. Just ask his ex.
I have a few Ian The Drunk calls on tape, the best of them has Ian calling in rambling about Pink Floyd and Howard puts Ian on the phone to talk to Joe Walsh and totally confuses him. Great stuff. I'm sure somone already has them up but as soon as I record them I'll put them up, I'm sitting on over a thousand hours of Stern tapes from '89 to '95,. Thanks for putting this up, I only have about an hour of this with them analyzing the tapes later on. This is amazing.
@86lenny - What's pathetic, 86lenny? It would have been pathetic if I didn't write the book. It's all truth and a book about Love, Forgivness, and Healing. Get a copy before you make any more comments. Thank you.
No, i think this was before Sal. Sal was phoning in alot when he was a StockBroker, also did the famous Lighting of the Teeth, but he and Richard got onto the show because of a context, lete 2003 or 4 i think.
oh man - I remember this when it happened live. this was one of the best things ever on the Stern show. this is going to be awesome!!! thanks so much for posting this.
Did you ever see his blowup on the E show? It was pretty scary. Ian the drunk, isn't that someone he used to let ramble while they all talked about him where he couldn't hear? Get me a specific date(s), and I'll try to track it down.
I think I remember seeing the blowup on the E show. Was it when he was heading to - and getting on the elevator right? Still screaming as the door closed? classic!
Ian the drunk called in for years - probably around the same as this Pat Cooper incident. He had a russian accent, he was always hammered, and he would tell Howard "you know, you really have no talent, no...nothing...you are not like a Pink Floyd, or something important..." he would just ramble on and on - it was hilarious
Well, Gary IS a scumbag.

Round 1 (5 parts)
Round 2 (5 parts)
Round 3 (9 parts)
