It seems that everything has to be a competition nowadays. This is a Beatles song, loved by millions. Lakeside interpreted the song as a soulful ballad, and it sounds great. It doesn't have to be better or worse, and both can be great. If you prefer one to the other, fine. As long as you realize that it's not against the law to like two things at once.

I consider this their tribute to The Beatles and John Lennon since this came out less than 6 months after Lennon died. Lakeside completely transformed the song and like The Beatles, it's a masterpiece. You can't compare the two. I love them both.

This is definetly not the original. That is Mark Woods singing the lead, but that sure ain't Otis Stokes singing, cause who ever that cat is sounds horrible, Otis Stokes is a bad boy.
