BO has been in office for just one year, in the midst of the crisis. This is too short a judgment. In my mind a 1.5 trillion dollar anual deficit is effectively as good as a government defaulting on its payments. Obama has lost none of his ability as an orator - however it remains to be seen if america will recover. I believe americans will have to adjust to a significantly lower standart of living. And that in itselfcould cause serious problems.
