Even at Lv. 59 it sweeped through his entire team. Download raising it's Sp. Atk and Rhyperior's Stealth Rock helped. I was actually rather surprised that it managed to outspeed Garchomp, even with the scarf.

tentacruels that know surf and blizzard and ice beam.

and like 3 elxirs use surf to defeat the first 3 elite four then use blizzard and ice beam against lances dragon type pokemon

@Hirdayesh5987 unless you hack, losing is the only way. the best place to train weavile.... around the top of mt silver, in the cave. the pokemon deep in there usually would be around level 50, so that's what i did for my whole team.

@DahRocker96 Teach Tyranitar Rock Slide/Screech and then use Tyranitar against Salamance, Charizard, and Altaria, and Dragonite. As for Garchomp, teach Blastoise Ice Beam/Blizzard and then use that move against Garchomp. Get rid of one of your Ice types and replace it with a fast lv68+ electric type like Jolteon or Manectric for Gyarados. hope this helped.

@Charugiatwo Indeed, Vaporeon is a bulky pokémon, especially with sp def. But Dragonite is 4 lvls higher; Draco Meteor is Dragonite's most powerful (Special) move, and it does crappy 108 damage, that's just wrong... It just looks like pokémons from NPC's have 0 IV's on everything, and they don't have EV's either, giving you an edge over trainers. That's why I said the game should be more challenging. NPC's pokémons should have max IV's to compensate the lack of EV's.

@ltzKevin Here are some suggestions:

Ampharos, since Lance's Gyarados is 4x weak to electricity (water/flying).

Weavile, since Lance's three Dragonites are very weak (x4) to Ice. Lance's Aerodactyl is also weak to Ice (and water), if I am correct.

Make sure you have a good Water-type move for his Charizard.

You should also have a Dragonite since Dragons are 2x weak to Dragon-type moves. But beware of his crippling 4x Ice weakness, as mentioned earlier.

@DahRocker96 His team is Dragon-centric, so Ice, Dragon, & Electric types work well. Froslass & Weavile are solid, but you need a strong dragon type. If you have a Dratini from the Dragon's Den, train it. Or just import a Dragon from the Pal Park. As for Electric, train a Mareep, use Pal Park, or go to Route 27 & catch a Lanturn, or use TM's.
