Further more almost 80 to 90% of southerners living before and during the war were very poor because 80% of the taxes came from southerners so even if a southerner wanted to by a slave they couldn't because of all the taxes. Second, the north had slaves as well not just the south, and lincoln who is praise and hailed as a hero of the slave..

Further more almost 80 to 90% of southerners living before and during the war were very poor because 80% of the taxes came from southerners so even if a southerner wanted to by a slave they couldn't because of all the taxes. Second, the north had slaves as well not just the south, and lincoln who is praise and hailed as a hero of the slave..

Finally the south was trying to win support from england and france so when lincoln made his speech it was nothing more than an attempt to stop any european nation from supporting the south. In other words lincolns emmancipation proclomation wasn't meant to free any slave...

In his book, The Plan: Big Ideas for America, he states that " Young people will know that between the ages of eighteen and twenty-five, the nation will enlist them for three months of civilian service." even if its not...when there are no jobs and a person cannot afford college.. where do you think their turn?? to the smiling guy telling them you can go to college free and work where ever you want.. but you have to enlist.. for example military and police... how many of those people grew up wanting to be a soldier or a cop.. I'm sure some did but most do it to either get through college or cannot find a job outside of fast food chains...in a way it is force...

In the days when "spare the rod, spoil the child" was in use, we didn't need a forced military enrollment, but today I think most of our youth would do well serving in some capacity for our country. I would think it would create a greater sense of ownership of our country as in Israel. However, my concern is that our government may very well use our own children to fight against this nations Christians, Patriots and Constitutionalists and other similar organizations.

Americorps is the closest things there is right now, but no, this hasn't been fully implemented yet, if H.R. 1444 is passed we will see this happen for sure though.
Honestly up until about 2 years ago I was a typical brainwashed idiot who followed everything the gov. said, I was even planning on joining the Marine corps, I did 4 years in J.R.O.T.C., so for most of Bush's administration, no I didn't protest him, until a few things were brought to my attention and I saw the light so to speak..
