i'm obviously a fringe element here because i'm not a fan of the quicker tempo, largely due to the fact that you don't get to feel the notes as you do in the original, but it does help set it apart from said original. that being said modifying this work shows nothing of your skills as a musician or artist of any form. it would be like taking a perfect sunset and adding a few brushstrokes. does it help? maybe. does it show any of your skill? no. try turning a regular day into a perfect sunset.

Very well but you should have leave it in the original tempo - it seems very "stressed"! And you should add a light reverb on the string sections - they seem to present.

@Strap1205 I don't think so, Piano is in perfect tempo with Cello and Violins. Otherwise, Cello and Violins should be slower!?!

I don't like it speeded up, if it's slow u have more time to enjoy the song I love the original one it's one of the most amazing songs if ever heard I love the pure sound of the piano it gets me goosebumps everytime I listen to it ;)

The idea, I like it, but once the 8th notes kick in I feel it's too hectic, too much. The beginning and quicker tempo were spot on, but I'd say clean that part up a little, otherwise well done mate!

@acarrascoy Yes much prefer slower version. Would like the whole track to be slower, simpler, no orchestration and to last much longer. It's a meditative piece for me.

Actually, the orchestration was meant to cover up my sloppy playing:) Meanwhile I've taken a solid piano course at a music college and things got noticeably better:) You can also check my electronic work at soundcloud.
