oh dude ...you must try the pebbly boulder.. (the pebbles are horrid actually and as for the top out ...well thats another story..if only i had 10ft arms !
This is Watty Lane. The downhill starts at the TV mast at the end of Stones Lane.
That ditch at 0:13 has thrown me off a few times :/
I never go down this way though. The best way to get down to the valley from Sourhall in my opinion is to head towards Portsmouth turn left, up the hill then drop down through the pine forest. Can be pretty scary when wet and there is a (optional) sketchy jump over a ditch half way down.
on the ordnance survey map its at928232. S out of tod to the main rd to bacup -take that road. immediately under the railway then over the canal and theres a road on your right, up that about 30metres and the bottom of this descent is on your left
nice one. looks like a good ride for the future. im planning to ride from stoodley to the pub at the top of cragg near the reservoir. do u know if it is any good? im looking for some freeride stuff
yeah its a nice little ride that. think il have to have a go at the ride in the vid this weekend, its behind my house virtually lol

Oddmorden, in winter, dry and with sun ? you lucky people !
How fast was that ?
subescort 4 years ago
that was last sunday- this sunday looks to be as good so we might get out and do another - watch this space.
as for the speed - fast enough to be fun but not fast enough to be in A&E
