Wow, how beautiful you are! Don't pay any attention to the grammatically challenged bigot below me. I'm sure he's just upset that, since he's probably lacking in the male department, a pretty Black woman like you wouldn't give him the time of day. :-) Love your vids!
why highlight your masculine sloping forhead. your choices are limited by the steel wool hair deal. its not exactly romantic for a guy to run his fingers through that mop. even 2 tons of cosmetics wont even make the slightest difference. you just get more vein and egotistical and less attractive to us guys. lol honey - it will just attract ants. have you tried starch and a steam ironer. black women have a fat a s s. asian women have lovely hair you know that dont you. they are babes. ha ha ha ha
so yeah I just work it through....and that will get - my hair is growing!! can't you tell??!! LMAO girl you are funny, and thanks for this! once i get these twists out, i'm definitely going to buy some honey
Have you tried mixed chicks hair products or Miss Jessie's? I used mixed chicks when I was transitioning and I loved it. Its a bit pricey but it makes your curls look pretty...
hey Keisha ! Thank you ! and girl you're welcome.. I hope you like it !! I noticed how well my NG responded to honey while I was transitioning and I just knew my natural hair would love it. Thank God for natural products, they really do work the best for me =)
MN is miconazole nitrate ( it's an antifungal/antibacterial cream used to treat yeast/fungal infections like yeast infections, jock itch, athlete's foot, ringworm, etc.. although your scalp may not have any bacterial infections, it oxidizes and promotes healthy scalp and faster growth ). You can buy yeast infection cream like monistat, or certain brands of neosporin & lotrimin and mix it with a carrier oil ( I use Castor oil). I'm making a very detailed video on it today =)
I went natural at the beginning of this week. I've been cowashing every night in the shower and I LOVE IT!! Your hair is a couple inches longer than mine but I did not transition, I just cut it.
Girl Congratulations !!! I was terrified of the short hair look but honestly I'm starting to wonder should I have chopped earlier and what I would have looked like lol.. I don't think I would have been brave enough to go that short though so Kudos to you sis ! Cowashing is soooo wonderful, you're going to love how your hair becomes so much softer but defined in the next weeks. I'm only at 2 weeks but I can't wait to see how my hair looks and feels at 2 months =)
I actually tried to transition before but I was losing alot of hair and my hair length was APL. BC'ing was the only way to go and I was ready so I just cut it all off and I love the decision. I'll keep up with your progress and let you know how mine is going as well. =)
do you use straight mn or do you mix it with an oil. Im a kiss sista also and I bought the mn but I havent started it. I am relaxed so I guess Ill try it I think ill mix it with an oil and sparay it and then rolll it.
I read that it only works when you mix it with a carrier oil =) .. so I've been using it mixed with Castor oil and my wild growth oil. I had to edit this video bc it was too long but I cut out the part where I show it. I will make a video on it tomorrow though when I get my camera charged =)
you actually did it 2day? That's awesome!! lol because i was actually thinking you wouldn't for like another week...THANX SOOO MUCH...I'm washing my hair tomorrow...we'll see what happens...
yes girl ! I try to make videos when I can lol.. this one was easy enough to do =) I hope you like your results ! I already know you'll keep me posted lol
wow i really love the natural hair on you. it looks very healthy, and you're right: it has grown!(: i decided to transition today, so im at the VERY VERY VERY beginning of my journey, lets hope it goes as smoothly as yours did. you're an inspiration girl!
Thank you so much Des, and girl Congratulations!!! The beginning of my journey was just as big as the end of it lol. I was sooo excited about it lol... I hope it goes smoothly for you ! Just keep it moisturized, wear an easy style like a bun or a wig like I loved =).. oh and do protein treatments, and trim whenever you notice washing becomes harder and you will be fine and the natural hair will be healthy which is most important =D
hey girl.. you look good with our little afro yours.. heheheh.. girl my hair is like your hair right now.. and i am going to apply jamaician black castor oil on my scalp.. after i do the henna reciepe on my hair.. cause my hair needs food!! lol.. well what else.. oh ya.. you need V05 conditioning, Elsta QP DPR-11, OLIVE OIL, ROSEMARY OIL, what else.. oh ya.. i am trying to buy from afroveda a moisturizer though.. you know what i am saying.. my hair is growing too girll.. ohhh weey.. its good! :)
Thank you !! Yeah I'm loving the growth I'm getting ! I wish I went natural sooner. I can't wait for a big full afro puff although I love the one I have now lol... I still have not tried henna !!! Girl I've been doing my own hair for 8 months exactly ( as of today, the 15th =D ) and I STILL have not tried it lol.. you gotta send me a recipe or a youtube tutorial on it ! I hear mixed things about it so I guess that's why I never tried it but I definitely want to do it next &make a video on it !

The poofy look - looks nice on you. I'm just wondering, do you still have relaxed ends? Because they look kinda straight.
