Definitely still one of the most awesome battle themes to come outta the series. It's got such a new-age twist on it by breaking away from a lot of the classically themed RPG's, Enix can always kick out an great soundtrack.

The Final Fantasy to re-hook the mainstream market, FFX. There is nothing I can say about it that hasn't been said, good or bad.

I will say though. I had more fun with Blitzball then the game, still, FFX is good, it's just I found Blitzball to be pretty damn fun of a mini-game.

That's what I was thinking, but for some reason I don't remember the seymour boss fights never stuck in my head. Despite me putting hundreds of hours into this game I have forgotten a lot about it.

It's when you fight one of Seymour's many forms. The one on Mt. Gagazet if i remember correctly.

Not bad for being a Final Fantasy battle BGM, pretty long and drawn out but that is what I would expect.

After certain games they just dropped in quality. Not a whole lot of them stand out anymore. They may not be BAD, but just bland.

I think Nobuo lost his touch after FF 8, but 10 was probably the last great (not just good, because i liked X-2, and sort of liked 12) Final Fantasy.

Here's to hoping the FF 13 series is a come back to what the franchise used to be.

This track was composed by Masashi Hamauzu, not Nobuo Uematsu.

While I do agree that he's basically lost his touch, Hamauzu only gets better with each soundtrack he composes, as far as I'm concerned.

Oh i agree completely. And i know this is a Hamauzu piece lol. But yes, his works seem to improve as the years go on. Sigma Harmonics is amazing. Although i do like his style from Samurai Legend Musashi.
