11 years ago my grand-father was taken from this world with cancer all over his body. the doctors who said he would last two weeks were wrong and it only two days, he was gone. He'll never be forgotten and anyone who says these guys are emo. Actually get a brain. ALL humans are emotional. That is why there are things such as war.

I wish I new about this song a year ago. My granny grumps died almost a year ago of cancer. She was only in her early 80's. This song gives me hope, as my cousin has cancer and is getting worse.

@AwesomeJingTan it means that for every person that goes in to remission or dies from it, there are that many more getting diagnosed with some form of it everyday. it's a horrible and heartbreaking disease, and many of the family members wishes they could "Save" their loved ones from the pain, or the chance that they might be gone too soon.

When people tell me that a song reminds them of me, it's almost always this song. It's scary. At least I know that they wish they could save me. I can't be saved. Not really. 11 years ago my grand-father was taken from this world with cancer all over his body. the doctors who said he would last two weeks were wrong and it only two days, he was gone. He'll never be forgotten and anyone who says these guys are emo. Actually get a brain. ALL humans are emotional. That is why there are things such as war.

I wish I new about this song a year ago. My granny grumps died almost a year ago of cancer. She was only in her early 80's. This song gives me hope, as my cousin has cancer and is getting worse.

@AwesomeJingTan it means that for every person that goes in to remission or dies from it, there are that many more getting diagnosed with some form of it everyday. it's a horrible and heartbreaking disease, and many of the family members wishes they could "Save" their loved ones from the pain, or the chance that they might be gone too soon.
like i know when you get down to the science of it cancer is just a mutant rapid growth of cells but that doesn't make it any easier

I dedicated this song to my best friend when she was going through a hard time. We aren't friends anymore, but I hope she remembers our friendship when she listens to this song. I know it's a song for cancer victims but to us it was a song that helped us overcome our troubles in 8th grade.
