@shook919 I'm afraid your going to have to travel to japan for this style of tattooing. Someone who is amazing in japanese style (amazing in freehand) but tattoos with a machine is Corey Miller. Well known from LA ink .. yet i think he works in his own shop now.
@sedod66 much worse, I've known people to pass out because of it, but if you endure the pain until it's finished, you've proven to be worthy to wear this piece of art.
@gataap really? holy shit! i was thinking about one day trying to get a piece done on my back with this method.
i now have a full sleeve and chest piece irezumi style and that was bad enough with the normal way! nothing has ever came close to the pain of when i had a very large tattoo removed by laser though. that was the sorest thing i ever had to endure!
@sedod66 of course, in this video they only show smaller tattoos done in this traditional way, but this method is normally used for full body tattoos. the people in this video don't really show the pain, because they get small tattoos. the bigger the tattoo, the more painful it is. Depending on the build of your body, your back is a less painful place to get it. I'd say, don't think about the pain if you truly want a traditional tattoo, like they say, pain is temporary, pride is forever
I been looking for a shop or studio to get this done for ever! I live in LA...
