There is no english version as this game is only released in Japan, and I highly doubt that this game and its predecessor will be localized in an english speaking country. There is a small english patch that translates a few things such as song names, the menu, and edit mode, but using such a method requires CFW.

As I mentioned before, even without any japanese knowledge, you can still play the game without the patch fine as it is a rhythm game.

Hi, I just recently found out about this game and am obsessed with getting my hands on a copy, thought I'm aware there will probably never been an north american release. Is it possible to play the game with relative ease without being able to read or understand japanese? The gameplay itself seems pretty easy to understand, but in terms of doing stuff like editing the music videos or picking outfits for the characters, etc, is it impossible?
