The Vette was not factory. I am thinking in this vid it was running a nitrous setup. Either that or the blower setup. But no, it wasn't stock at all.

two main ways a turbo can be set up. it can b connected to an exhaust manifold made specifically for a turbo, with a flange for the turbo and a wastegate unless the turbo has an internal wastegate OR you can actually pretty much use the turbo as a muffler. dont believe me. want to call me an idiot? do some research into squire turbo systems (STS) sturbo kits. then go fist yourself.

No, the car isn't running to its full potential in this video. I don't have exact numbers, but the thing is fast as hell.

As far as someone having a car that sounds like it.... You must have a turbo big enough to fit your head inside it then, because this car does. And yes, it has headers, too.

Hate to correct you, because for the most part you're right. But Fast Fords magazine raced the 2003 Cobra against a 02 SS and the SS ran an 11.8 stock. Yes, everyone was freaking out because that is not typical, but it has happened.

They must have been racing on an incline then, because no stock Camaro SS runs 11's. The best I've seen stock is in the 12's. Maybe the "Fast Ford" magazine was making up times for the SS because their supercharged V8 Cobra can't keep up.
