Berkley Braid knot vs. the Fish-N-Fool - Episode 7, Knot Wars 2010

I want to see the Berkley Braid tested against the Palomar knot !!!!!!

I think it's a rip off that some guy renames the uni knot to Fish N Fool and then takes credit for developing it. I have a 2007 pamphlet from Power Pro that clearly shows how to tie this knot, running the line through the eye twice, calling it a uni knot. I guess now a days people can just rename whatever they want and claim to be the creator? I think better research needs to be done in the future before you credit someone else's hard work to the wrong person again.

@TheBassholesWebsite How about this: The Unit Knot is actually a rename of Ashley's Gallows Noose (ABOK #1121). It doesn't matter. Nobody cares what you call it, as long as you can identify it. By the way, passing the knot twice through the eye is technically a different knot than the Uni. If you tell somebody to tie a Uni without saying anything else, they shouldn't be passing the line twice through the eye.

I love the fishing fool knot and never knew about it until Watching knot wars. For me, it's the easiest knot to tie (even easier than the Palomar). I don't care what knot wars says, I think the Fishing Fool is a better know, simply by ease of tying it. I can tie it a lot faster than the Berkley Braid.

look at it this way would berkley put their name on a knot that they knew would lose probaly not lol! Definitely bull and notice how he says "learn the berkley braid knot" didnt give any credit to the fish-n-fool knot like he usually does to the loser but not this time. Fish-n-fool knot is a great knot and will be the only knot ill use.
