@BoppS333 kan ich mich vohrstellen aber F242 ist....das beste unter die EBM muzik The klinik is more indutrialllleeee....Dive is even better Dirk eyvens.....? rings a bell????......dive is klinik und klinik is dive.......
@MagnitudePerson because the word techno was stolen to be used by acid junkies this original techno was renamed after an 1985 Bootleg of Front 242 "Electronic Body Music". Cover and Title was used on the SPV Promo Sampler "Electronic Body Music" in Sommer 1988 with Neon Judgement "Chinese Black", Skinny Puppy "Assimilate", A Split Second "On Command", Cassandra Complex "One Millionth happy Costomer" in Remix produced for this Sampler and different from the Album Version on Theomania, and others
@MrAntipattern in those Days the Definition of Techno was given by Deutsch Amerikanische Freundschaft D.A.F. and their Songs "Moussilini", "Alle gegen Alle", "Kebab Träume" an Remix of "Militürk" by Fehlfahrben and "Verschwende Deine Jungend" .... also a very huge Song of DAF is: "Ein bisschen Krieg" ... Well, not Kraftwerk but DAF had a major influence to Front242, Nitzer Ebb, 15 later to Covenant "Stalker", "Figurehead", "Theremin" and others .... btw: DAF was produced by genius Conny Planck
i love dark music, perhaps as i have a dark side and a light side, it is great to have light and dark in ones life, the balance of power and well being from light to dark and dark to light
wow, wow, this is exactly the sound i was looking for from front 242, lots of synth, big on synth with a new wave element and germanic vocals, AWESOME
I still have this single on vinyl .Still think it's the hardest and most aggressive purely electronic music track that was released in the late 80's .Most people remember them for their single "Headhunter" however I this is a marked improvement on that, where as that number just seem to plod along "Never Stop" has some kick arse drumming and I just love it when the main synth kicks in circa 1.04.Can anyway tell me if they were using modern tech stuff like loops and triggers at the time?
I don't know excactly what to call the sort of music Front 242 do. But when I am in one of my aggressive moods this band certainly hits the spot.

This is NOT techno. Not that anything is wrong with "techno" what i hate is "techno music" and post-techno dance crap.

@djmusicjac
The lyrics are English and the band is Belgian. Nothing really germanic here.

@MrDoomw I believe they spoke seven languages altogether. German is included.
