I know there is more than one way to braid your hair for a sew in, but

I was wondering how much does the way you braid the hair underneath affect how the style looks? Is there a way you can show like different pics of different ways to braid your hair and the way the tracks lay or maybe a video? I hate getting my hair done in salons and I like to do it myself but i haven't seen any videos on sewins as informative as yours.

I feel like this video is misleading she is using two diffrent types of hair at first she said its brazilian water wave then she said its curly hair i ordered the brazilian water wave and it looks nothing like that dont be fooled u guys she did something extra to that hair or its a diffrent type

@mnuniss Hey...I am a hairdresser. This is the same hair. Brazilian water wave is considered curly hair. It is not a 'full" curl but it is curly. As u can c once u run your fingers thru it, it looks curly. In our terms (hairdressers) if it is not straight, then even a "wave" is considered as curly. There is no need to try to "fool" anyone. As u watch her in the video, when she starts to run her fingers thru it, it looks curly. Water wave is just a term because it's between a curl and a wave.....

Im going to re-watch 1 of your older vids on how you braided your hair up as well. Then I think I am fully equipped to try this out on my own head. Don't know why I have been apprehensive about doing a sew in but u've just given me the courage to just try to do it. u make it look so easy!!! :-)

That was the part I didn't get - I've watched a lot of sew in vids on YT but i felt like the starting off part was never really shown clearly - 4 me at least.
