When i see a nice movie on a German channel i really dont understand why they messed with the originial by using voice overs. I'v been growing up with subtitles, you get the original and you learn how to speak English as a kid. @Urban058 i didn't feel offended in any way, so don't worry. i agree with the movies, but germany has a big market, dubbing is worthwhile financially. i also wish there was more subtitles and originals. for my part, i watch movies in the theatre's in original w/e subtitles, i want the way the director intended it to be. sadly, there are still enough lazy people. however, i disagree, from all european foreign speakers (except scandinavia maybe) i think germans tend to speak the best english.
