Battlezone1(dot)net from there you can get the battlezone . On the latest patch 1.5 allmost all bugs are fixed also bee able to play it on xp,windows vista, windows 7 now very good thanks to Ken miller the original bz programer, 1.5 patch have direct x 9 so the graphic have been litle imroved also. I should note, this video is from PB4a. A lot has been updated, including some weapon fixes like hornet being slower. The speed went from40, (bz1.0) to 35 (bz1.4)

@Myrodin I'd be glad to make another one but I'd have to install again which..the last time I installed this game my pak files wouldn't install correctly from the CD for some reason. I had a heck of a time getting the game going.
Does the newest version stand alone installer? That would be great!
Cuz I actually don't have interest, at least at the moment, to play Bz2 again. Or bz1 for that matter. My interest in these games, although GREAT games, has gone stale.

@arel3 BZC Doesn't use the stock game's Pak files, just the engine, patched to 1.3. You DO need a copy of BZ2, 1.3 PB5.1 or PB6 installed.

It's nice to see what Battlezone 2 should have looked like, I hope this mod fixes the handling on the vehicles

I'm pretty sure that the Hornet in BZ1 is a lot slower and does a lot more damage per shot ;)

This is a game in Battlezone 2 I made, against bots, for the person(s) developing a mod to make Bz2 more like Bz1.
It IS Battlezone 2, they're attempting to bring the old school Battlezone 1 features, ships, weapons, and control physics into Bz2 as a mod.
It is also well after dx9c

I've always thought that Battlezone was the greatest game to ever grace the PC (followed by Giants; Citizen Kabuto, The Witcher, Vampire the Masquerade).
BZ@ is good but there's only one BZ1!

Excuse the poor quality. It looks even better then this now, this video was shot before BZ2 had DirectX 9.0c graphics engine :D
