  • notice the crowd respecting chris-not constant yelling-letting the storyteller telling his thoughts. what a dude!!! makes you happy and sad at the same time.

  • That's the most tender version I've ever heard him do,Wow........love it.

  • why cant nashville country stars write songs as good and deep as that?

  • These songs are written from the heart by people who experience this kind of stuff. They're not born from nashville song writers. They're born from people like Mr Chris Knight.

Brian Keane says it all perfectly in his new song. "...Radio is full of them rich folk singin about places they've never been, let em sing about their own life and I'll sing about mine." It's all about small towns and how nashville radio stars can't capture what country is all about because they haven't experienced it

  • great song it is about me

  • will someone plz put williams son on here?

  • best song ever love it

  • love this man's music so much

  • one of my favorite songs!

  • bloody love this album, this in my opinion is his best song

  • TRUE ART!!!!!

  • MUDHOOKS-Thanks for posting this. We know he has teeth. You did your best.. That's all we can ask. Thank-You

  • Damn!! Sometimes simple and meaningful is sooo much better. I've been playing guitar for 4 years and am good in some areas. But lately, I've been riffing it to Brad Paisley/Keith Urban style, but Mr. Knight's version here makes me stop and appreciate the finer things and realize it's good to slow down and find meaning along the way. Kudos...

  • Kid i hate to tell u but if u really wanna be a cowboy u need to take ur keith urban cd's and burn em! Keith, the rascal fags, and most of the new artists have destroyed what Waylon, Johnny and the rest of the legends took so long to build. U are right about Mr. knight though. He is one of the few who still make em proud. I'm not knockin paisleys and keiths music, they just shouldnt call it country.

  • thanks for the "kind" response. I'll stick to KU mainly because he's very versatile in his own way. But I do acknowledge the wide-range of country...I don't even listen to Rascal...as a guitarist, I am in awe of KU and BP's ability more than just the kind of what country sounds like.

  • @lilscott1544 ..... HAHA and here I thought I was the only one that called them the "Rascal Fags"

  • Thanks for the posting , for a long time , there wasn't many CK songs on youtube , now there is quite a few. But for a long time , this is what we had , so thanks for sharing. It's kinda like the Deadheads listening to those worn out sometimes poorly recorded live shows , over and over and over. They and us do it because , we are true fans. PEACE

  • His songs make me want to kill myself but in a good way. His songs just rip your heart out in such a simple & honest way.

  • In person, he is a really nice and sort of shy person... Still waters run deep.

  • this song reminds me of some of the guys in my area. i try to listen to it every day.

  • Chris Kight is awesome! can`t wait for the new cd!

  • i just like it cause my names William and my brother names Christopher Knight

  • just one of the best songs spotty dog

  • Note how quiet the place got during the song.

  • Yes...

It was a great show, too. He's the sort of person who you really believe might have shot the man who shot his brother and lived the life in his songs....

  • Its unfortunate that my camera's sound is so bad. Makes him sound like he has no teeth.

  • That song is soooo sad.

  • i love c.k.
