It's also like comparing apples and oranges in some ways. I am trained in western classical piano, guitar and saxophone, in addition to playing carnatic music on the violin for the past 19 years. @Asherek this is completely irrelevent but in countries such as russia children are grades 5-12 attend free music classes funded by the government and all russian rock and metal musicians are able to play many concert instruments as well. Their free music classes are comparable to that of a musical college in the USA dont believe me? Check out the musicians of aria or sergey mavrin and also khurram waqar of the band qayaas is also a very good musician.
