  • Stefan grossman is beast

  • Great!

  • I believe it is a NK Forster guitar.

  • don't know who built that guitar, (presumably a custom builder displaying his wares at the Festival, but the bridge looks waaay too big ...

  • I remember I was absolutely absorbed by this song (and any other ragtime thing for guitar) as featured live in that double LP with Renbourn (Sanachie Records), at the same time I was working my fingering for "The Clap" by Steve Howe... Wow, how many obstacles to solve when you haven't got a video clip of such stuff! Great, great, great, Mr. Grossman. And thanks B. for this post!

  • Saw him live loads of times in the 70s. Just amazing.

  • Why are all those people talking while he's playing? One of the worlds top pickers is playing and they're yappin away. Do they think he's the radio? Music is so taken for granted. Makes me want to cry.

  • He along John Fahey and the early record buyer/collectors in the south have pushed this style as much as any of the originals, otherwise this would have been a forgotten music.

  • Twelve Sticks- Rev Gary Davis

  • One of the greatest guitar players EVER. I'm dead serious!

    Pascal

  • no argument from me!
