Nearly all of american chocolate/candy/sweets and cereal have been banned in the UK and Ireland because of the sugar content! LMFAO! They can be shipped here, just not sold here. and sweet jesus what is their obsession with putting peanut butter in EVERYTHING! i was in an american sweet shop and almost everything had peanut butter in it or in the title. I like peanut butter...just not with everything! haha

As an American I had never really thought about how sugary our junk food is. It's priceless seeing people from other countries try these things out that we have known all our lives though. If you want a seriously sugary treat, find a cherry mash. Also, see if you can find some twizlers. Being Aussie you could find this amusing but an old American favorite, the tootsie roll. I agree with susanlucena---combos are so yum! I love the cracker combos the best. Also try 100 Grand bar (used to be called $100,000 bar when I was a kid). They are chocolatey, with soft caramel, and a satisfying crunch.

hi David~~ I wonder if you have tried 'Combos'? They are mini pretzel tubes stuffed with cheese, and they come in several different flavors. I can only find them at gas station convenience stores (when I find them at all) so I stock up on them. If you see them try them. As for Poptarts~~ I would eat any flavor of them off the ground, if I had to, i love them that much. Thanks for your reviews, you freakin' rock!!!

PB Twix is fairly new..Watchamacallits actually date back to at least the early 80s! I think one of my fav USA candy bars are Fast Breaks & Take 5...and Pop Tarts are actually my weakness...if I have coffee..as you noticed..they are way sweet.....you don't need a toaster. lol But a pack of Poptarts is like 400 calories & enough sugar to last someone a month. If you can find HERR'S chips..wow..especially the Prime Rib flavor with sour cream.

Aww so you didn't like the Whatchamacallit. Fair enough, but now the trend in America is dark chocolate with classic candy bars like Snickers and Reese Butter cups. Those are awesome with dark chocolate because its not as sweet. Oh yeah and Chocolate pop tarts are so sweet. You should try Cherry or some other fruit of your choice; its a little less sweet.

I don't know what candy you have in Australia, so I'll just give my 2 favorites. One isn't American I know for sure, it's the Cadbury chocolate bars with roasted almonds. They are seasonal where I live. But it's the best chocolate candy bar ever! Whenever they come in season on the shelves, we clean 'em out to stock up, but they never last long in our house! xP.

The 2nd, I don't know if it's American either (I doubt it, American chocolate is mostly Hershey and it's gross) is Ferrero Rocher.

The Twix looks lovely! Very rare we get anything like that here in Ireland. I was in my local supermarket yesterday and saw 4 new versions of the Kitkat Chunky. White chocolate, peanut butter, orange and the other was a double chocolate.. all 4 were LOVELY!! :D I am going to put a parcel together and mail it to you as soon as I can, any requests just let me know!! BTW, did you ever get " aromat " or have you ever heard of it? It's a yellow seasoning in a little tin, delicious on chips/fries!!
