You could also say that the censorship of Ron Paul caused people to cast their vote for someone else. When the media constantly tells its audience that a candidate is a "long shot" or a "fringe candidate", people are less likely to support him...they see it as voting for a 3rd party(they don't have a chance in our current system).
Also in some of the GOP primaries so far Ron Paul's name has been left off of ballots, and in very few instances election judges have told voters he had dropped out.

It IS a conspiracy, look at the facts in this video, it can't be disputed.
As for the racist angle, only one time did the media confront Ron Paul with this on camera and he handled the issue so well it was never brought up to him again by any TV news source.
Search for the Wolf Blitzer interview that dealt with race accusations and watch it.

You could also say that the censorship of Ron Paul caused people to cast their vote for someone else. When the media constantly tells its audience that a candidate is a "long shot" or a "fringe candidate", people are less likely to support him...they see it as voting for a 3rd party(they don't have a chance in our current system).
Also in some of the GOP primaries so far Ron Paul's name has been left off of ballots, and in very few instances election judges have told voters he had dropped out.

Weathered22, I have never met a Ron Paul supporter who would be swayed becasue the MSM told them he is a long shot. Ron Paul supporters are some of the most deticated and passionate supporters I have ever seen. Also, most Ron Paul supporters are active because they are fed up with what they have been getting, thus probably were the ones to seek out Ron Paul, not the other way around. I see your point, but I don't think Ron Paul appeals to apathetic or media-impressionable voters.

comicfl, I am aware that most Ron Paul supporters don't make their decisions based on what the MSM tells them, but I think there are a large number of people who only get their news from these media outlets. When someone is referred to as a long shot, people might be less likely to vote for him, because they don't want to throw their vote away.
It's the fact that most people don't know who the man is that's the problem, and when he is on the MSM, they call him a fringe candidate.
